Grim Dawn actually crashed on me today, but it came up with a window to submit the crash. Why is it that a tiny dev like Crate Entertainment has such a tool but DAI doesn't ? lol

Sometimes age makes you wise. Sometimes age makes you an old fool.
Edit: BTW, it occurred to me that someone might think this was aimed at them. It's not. Just an old Marine saw about wisdom that I find funny.

I've been running more tests on AMD Kaveri A8 7600 APU and games seem to run optimally at 900p
Medium/High settings, FXAA on 768p/900p/1080p
Metro Last Light 1336x768 47 fps 1600x900 35 fps 1920x1080 24 fps
Hitman Absolution 1366x768 35 fps 1600x900 28 fps 1920x1080 21 fps
Tomb Raider 1366x768 56 fps 1600x900 39 fps 1920x1080 27 fps
Bioshock Infinite 1366x768 47 fps 1600x900 34 fps 1920x1080 26 fps
Sleeping Dogs 1366x768 54 fps 1600x900 46 fps 1920x1080 38 fps
Mass Effect 3 1366x768 62 fps 1600x900 53 fps 1920x1080 41 fps
Not too shabby for integrated graphics.

I have never had a strike on any forum. Don't know what that says about me. I have never run out of likes on the Bioware forums. Don't know what that says about me, either.
Surely there is not a software daemon on this system that tracks the types of things you like and acts accordingly. You are not on a watch list or the bad side of a certain, stalker moderator. That could never, ever happen on the Bioware forums.
Wow. My cheek tastes like honey barbeque today.

I went and beta tested patch 6 some more, and thanks to MatrixGirl, I'm really beginning to notice how glossy wood, metal, and leather looks like plastic. lol

I picked up Wasteland 1&2, and man is wasteland 2 hard! Playing my intiial run on Normal, and getting my butt kicked when i try to use a melee character.. Just getting to AG Center, and the giant bunnies put a hurting on a brutha! I dont understand why.. I have done quite well at D:OS.. Im more a fantasy genre person, over sci-fi, or post apocolyptic, but i need to try other things.. It looks amazing, and im sure ill enjoy it thoroughly!
So, i decided to try Xcom, and am having greater success with it.. Dont know why i hated it so bad, when it was a freebie on PS+.. Maybe console? But its alright..Got the full dlc, so ill beat i a few times.. Figured i should try something new, instead of beating Dawn of War 2 for the 100th time, lol
Checking friends lists for similar likes, and games i may have missed, and finding some gems..

Yeah, I gave on Microsoft and Xbox a long time ago.. It's funny you mention Gears of War because I think I was done with it right before the 3rd one came out. I played a whole lot of Rainbow Six Vegas.. I do miss that.

I Tought the new patch for DAI had a feature call shader, so you could kind of tame down the plastic effect :-)
I may be wrong, but was told that by a BETA tester :-)
Plastic or no plastic it still is a boring game in my opinion that will never be fixed:-)
The plastic look is supposedly a side effect of Frostbyte engine :-)
No one needs a reminder that the vistas look great, but the Barbie doll plastic look is Bioware garbage :-)

You'll get your tactics down in Wasteland 2 eventually.
It took me a while to get a handle on it. Xcom is a great choice although I want to sometimes pull all my hair out.

@Rizilliant I did love some Dawn of War 2.
I wonder what Relic is doing these days, now that THQ is gone.

Well good thing I have not wasted too much time on this piece of junk game :-)
It's ok The Witcher 3 is due out soon and everyone would have forgotten about DAI :-)
The only thing to learn from that is;
Never buy a EA or Bioware product again :-)
I was one of the lucky one who got my money back :-)

I may take a look also at POE, never know I may like it :-)
I will do my research on the game, but even Pac Man is better than DAI :-)
And I refuse to play DAI :-)
Playing DAI is like boring S*x 7 hours of going at it and nowhere close to a small orgasm :-)

You may like it. The story takes precedence over graphics as RPGs should. I suppose it would be appropriate to call PoE , the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate 2.

I just looked at it :-)
Looks alright :-)
Is it me or there is no voice over in POE, maybe I was watching an old video :-)
Seems like mostly text oriented :-)

Yes, there will be bits of dialogue that are spoken but most of it is meant to be read. It's meant to be like the old cRPGs. I don't think they had the budget for a lot of voice overs anyway. It was a kickstarter project.

It might be worth checking out :-)
I am all for a great story and less graphics quality, if the story is interesting:-)
Unlike great graphics and no story at all :-)
Even if I am a graphic snob :-)

It's beautiful by virtue of it's art design to be honest. Oh, and nothing looks like plastic.

Yes just saw that :-)
They are using an older engine, but that is what Bioware should have done with DAI :-)
They should have used an engine they could work with and still make it look nice, get rid of the fillers quests and give the game a good story :-)
And with an older refined engine we could do things as simple a clicking the mouse and key binding and something happens :-)
Maybe older game engines are better than new ones, that no one knows how to fix :-)
To me a game should be immersive and let the player have fun, and at the end you say wow that was a great game, now I will play it again as another character :-)

It's actually not an old engine. It's Unity with hand drawn art assets. somewhat similar to Wasteland 2.
It was made to look like Baldur's Gate 2.

@MatrixGirl This is what Josh Sawyer, game designer and writer said about PoE.
In an interview, Josh Sawyer stressed that being free of the limitations of a publisher would enable them to "delve into more mature subject matter[...] slavery, hostile prejudice (racial, cultural, spiritual, sexual), drug use and trade, and so on will all help flesh out the story".Obsidian was inspired by InXile Entertainment's recent success of using Kickstarter to fund Wasteland 2. Chris Avellone mentioned at the project's announcement that if the campaign were to succeed, Pillars of Eternity would become a franchise. He also ruled out a possible console port of the game, "Those [console] limitations affect RPG mechanics and content more than players may realize (especially for players who've never played a PC RPG and realize what's been lost over the years), and often doesn't add to the RPG experience."

PC only. They felt that console limitations would affect the RPG mechanics and content.
