Yeah, I got a chance to try it out on my gf's computer.  Grim Dawn is really polished and I loved Titan Quest. The funny thing with Grim Dawn is that it's still really a beta piece of software but I didn't run into any issues playing it. I think they are adding in Act 3 pretty soon.   Not too many changes in Torchlight 2.  Synergies mod works great and definitely adds value to the game. There are various texture mods that got updated and the game looks better then ever.

Grim Dawn: Act3, part 1 has been released to early access already.

Interesting... just checked my Orca helicopter and turns out its still on the front page since last year  With 500+ downloads!!! http://isoplanetexpl...echerche_iso_go

More capable designers - like the one that made the ME Mantis gunship, just 200+, surprised my heli is so popular.

Thank you for your service.
You lost me at 486 and ISA
My first PC was a iMac 21 inch with the G6 CPU a month later Apple went to the Intel CPU
Now I have 1 nasty power Mac, and a nasty PC
Love them both

I need to do research on how to start a Kickstarter or something similar. The surrounding area are full of old gamers, young thinkers and lots of talent all around. These boards show that talent is everywhere. I want to cash in and make my hobby a job for me and anyone like-minded.

my current pc is a tad dated, twas a monster 5 years ago, and with a few replacements here and there, it's stayed fairly current, until about 2 months ago.

---edit
and hi to any newcomers I may have missed.

There's kickstarters for everything, alot of struggling artists are also getting funded through it. In my opinion it's a good initiative, risky, but it allows for funding that very promising talent would not get otherwise. Not just that but it can be community based projects or anything.

Though... one of the bad sides (my opinion), still remember that kickstarter did fund this crazy "feminist" who has launched her campaign complaining about "violence against women in video games" or some such. When I'm killing things in video games I don't care if its a man/woman/robot/beast/whatever.

Just a facepalm, but my 2 cents

I was not a big fan of Skyrim
Not much voice acting and you had to run forever to get to your quest
I got bored of it quite fast.
Now they say DAI is a bit like Skyrim, so I will see if it does the same to me as Skyrim did.
And there was so many bugs in that game until the modders fix it.
As in not using more than 2Gig of Ram at first, but when it was fixed I played it from beginning to the end and never played it again.
And then they added the high resolution mod, that made it look better:-)
Had that game maxed out and was banging myself 60 FPS, but it still suffered from a memory leak :-)
Did they fix that yet?

Yeah, modders fixed that a long while ago.  The game runs beautifully and the visual mods are insane.

If you decide to go back and play again, run it with the following mods.  It's a completely revamped experience.

Sorry about the 486 and ISA reference. The problem with the memory was that it was 1 pin off and too high of a voltage for the slot.  lol   :)    I'm very envious of your PCs and your internet connection btw.  grr.  :)  I gave a friend of mine my custom gaming pc to get him off consoles so it was my choice to be more portable and deal with the compromises.

I will make note of that thanks much :-)
I may try it again after I muddle my way through DAI
Which seems to be working fine at my end
Even with the bad UI :-)

NP.  I'm glad your issues in DAI are minimal.  As I posted previously, I don't mind too much beta testing issues but EA could have avoided a lot of this with just a month of intense Q&A using more realistic PCs to test. It feels like they only tested it on better then recommended PC and called it a day instead of employing a lower end, mid tier and recommended PCs to test things.

Most people think people my age 24 that is, love consoles

I actually met a gaming couple who are merely 20, almost fresh out of high school - and full on PC gamers all the way.

Wow they look quite nice
Looks a lot like DAI graphics
But still wish there was more voice acting beside I took an arrow in the knee :-)

The interesting NPCs mod adds a whole boatload of voiced NPCs and companions well as quests.  Truly amazing but scary mod at almost 2 gigabytes in size.  :)

That would be me
Tried an Xbox one at a large store and it was some racing game
Took me 30 seconds to figure out this was for the 12 years old
And the controller just did not do it for me :-)

I can't be bothered with torrents or sh-t, I like to just walk down a store, buy a game, come home, install it, and have the case on display. Besides like Bethgael I'm from Australia, so my net isn't very reliable (also why Ubisoft has been boycotted with their online-only DRM BS). It's either limited but reliable, or unlimited and prone to dropouts....

Telstra or Optus? ;)

Actually my 'net's pretty good (Optus). Tends to have the occasional dropout at midnightish (they seem to reset then) or during storm season (that's not their fault--Brissy storms are pretty electricky, especially this year).

And now I have to ask where (obviously not specifically) you are? :D

I think you may actually enjoy  Stalker Call of Pripyat   with http://www.moddb.com...ripyat-complete

It's an FPS with a horror/RPG elements.

Damn, perhaps its an older version cause I'm running Frostfall + Wet n Cold (another performance eater) + Flora Overhaul (huge performance eater) but runs smooth using ENB Boost.

Overkilled Skyrim by now though lol, man, 3 yrs. The game lasts so long thanks to mods. Most of the time I play it to try out new mods.

I may check it out
The worst screwed game that I ever played was alien colonial marine that came out a few years ago and was made by Sega. It was for the PC it was so bad they had to send a 4 Gig patch to fix it, the original game was 2 Gig, so they had to totally rewrite the game from scratch and it still sucked :-)

ya. lol  The game still feels fresh thanks to  Interesting NPCs, Falskaar, and Wyrmstooth.  It's a whole new game with those installed. Those three add two new continents, bunch of new areas, puzzles, and storylines.
