Gonna be honest with you: Personally I have no interest in this game. None whatsoever. BUT...that goes for almost all indie games these days. I dunno how to explain it. In short: I'm a triple-A-game-sucker.
Longer: I never had a console or handheld, I am a pc only player and on pc games were going trough a steady evolution. Back in the days, of course, I did play jump & runs and classic adventures. Graphics had pixels back then, it was state of the art. I also loved Baldurs Gate, but would have a hard time playing it now, which goes for almost all isometric style rpgs. It's just outdated looking at a landscape and people as if watching puppets on the floor...imho.
Excluded from games that more or less never went trough this evolution both in gameplay and graphics - I mean for instance those on handhelds like the gameboy - I watched games grow better and more beautiful by the year. And got used to it.
And that's why I can hardly bring myself to play older games or those made to look old, aka "oldschool" There are some some notable exceptions. For instance I LOVE Faster Than Light and couldn't care less about it's simplistic graphic style. Another game I did enjoy was "Sword and Sworcery". You would think that from these examples I'd be more open towards other games, would be a logical assumption. Well...doesn't work that way for some reason. ^^
So in the end, it brings us back to the beginning: I'm simply a sucker for triple-A games lol.
