Just upgraded my PC finally, FX-8370 out of stock everywhere so I just got an FX-6300, and slapped a hyper 212 cpu cooler on it, its SO QUIET! Switching on the PC, I could hear only the hard disk clicking softly, and under heavy load it's still barely audible.
Surprisingly the FX-6300 is more powerful than anticipated, I just did a FO4 sprint from Boston Commons to Mass Fusion Building via Goodneighbor entrance and it's so smooth - or it could be the patch - or both! Could also be that I also upgraded my video to a R7 370 since I had money to spare, miss my old powerhouse HD 6870 though. The R7 is pretty solid for the price, I'm running everything on Ultra! The fans are also just as quiet.
Still, the hyper 212 has made the biggest difference, especially from the stock fans I was using for years. Highly recommend it if your PC is loud!

I found the ME trilogy runs a tad tedious on ME1 because of the old combat system. It's so much better on ME2/3, the last trilogy run I did I was rushing to finish ME1 to get to ME2 lol

Oh btw guys, there's FINALLY a guns on back mod for FO4!
Armorsmith extended adds pistol harnesses and a sniper rifle on your back ![]()
Seems like it's only cosmetic at the moment, you have to manually equip/unequip using VATs; your weapon/armor at the same time whenever you change weapons. Better than nothing I suppose.

Looks like modders are several steps ahead of me while being distracted with XCOM2
Functional guns on back has now officially arrived in FO4:

so what do you folks think? was Vega an N6, or has the rule of cool decided that the whole N training routine can be bypassed with a short-sleeve shirt and a boatload of muscles? *insert joke about clams here*

@Invisible man I'm in agreement that they cut out his storyline. But then again, it's not surprising since it's EA.
I think I'm taking a break from FO4 til CK releases. Too many mods are becoming co-dependent on each other to work properly which can lead to instability.

i also recall in response to this question that i seemed to be the only one suffering from this issue, or these issues.
oh, and in the citadel DLC the enemies in the combat simulator cheat like SOBs, the entire point of playing an infiltrator is being able to turn invisible, well the cloaking device doesn't seem to work there at all. yes, i vanish well enough, however everyone and the mothers can still shoot me just fine. *sigh*

Hmmm, first time I heard of that issue too. ME3's problem for me was its ending until extended cut and citadel. It ran smooth and stable for me all the way up to the end with no input problems. I actually think of ME3 as the smoothest code and mechanics of the franchise.

usually i make comments about me3's ending along the lines of...
the ending wasn't as bad as some i've seen; however, when compared to the rest of me3, or more to the point the rest of the series, it sticks out like a sore thumb. it's choppy, non-logical (which isn't really a big deal in a game), lore breaking, and contrary to established character development. had it been attached to the ending of any other game it would have been received far better.
as for shep's death... there are two quotes that come to mind, though i can't recall who made them. first, "the fact that shepard dies is not what irks me -- it's the fact that shepard died for THAT ending... that's what irks me." and "why the hell couldn't shepard live happily-ever-after? if anyone deserved a relaxing vacation after the shitstorm it's shepard! -- & that whole dead hero for fake drama/heart string pulls gets lame & cheap when it's done so frequently."

Yeah and Patrick Weekes' alleged post of what happened behind the scenes makes alot of sense too, you can clearly see the difference in consistency and quality between the ending and the rest of the game. Regardless I doubt Bioware will make the same mistake again after that sh-tstorm.
Golden age of Bioware has ended for me however. DA is dead to me now too, the only storyline that I found well done was when playing as a female elf character romancing Solas. All the other romances for me felt very shallow and cringeworthy.
ME:A, I don't know... I still don't know, and will wait for fan reviews first.
BTW guys, get XCOM2!!! I went back to FO4 for a while to test out my upgrade (I LOVE IT - and all for a good price too, even if performance still suffers if I go 1440p, I have my shadow distance to high now and godrays on, the R7 card is pretty powerful for its price, at least on 1080p), and the new guns on back mod, but...
It's still the same, I ended up going back to XCOM2

so, holding back the alliance fleet till sovereign is exposed somehow saves 1/3 of the alliance fleet at the battle of the citadel? looking back from a tactical viewpoint that's a$$backwards.
sovereign is about or more powerful then the entire geth armada attacking the citadel, and just the geth seem to be overpowering the entire citadel fleet... if the alliance waits to launch their attack, most of the citadel fleet will likely be lost, the DA most certainly will be (and it's massive guns), and the alliance fleet will be facing the geth fleet and sovereign at the same time, and likely alone, with the geth in their flanks and rear. that's what i'd call a tactical misstep.
as for what happens if the alliance comes in early...
the alliance takes the geth by surprise, the geth get pinned between the citadel & alliance fleets, while the geth are cutoff and isolated from soverign, standard divide & conquer plus a pincer attack. geth get crushed, and the remaining citadel fleet and the mostly untouched alliance fleet attack sovereign without it's coverage from the geth. in my opinion the right call tactically speaking.
am i wrong?
---edit
i've never actually seen the let the counsel die ending, mainly because i have trouble with a hardened military professional... making that bad of a tactical decision. well from a roleplaying perspective.

Perhaps but one can also argue the advantage of having reserves, the Roman army for example, always had their reserves, to exhaust their enemy. They never committed their forces all in one go unlike their opponents.
Still, I am in favor of your argument as well, the alliance coming in early is the better tactical choice in my opinion, especially to make a strike against Sovereign while you still have "cannon fodder" left standing to keep the Geth busy.
However I reckon the writers compromised abit in tactical thinking for more morality-based decisions. Yet the way morality is handled in games are too black and white in general. DAO for instance, I found the morality system much better, like with the possessed child scenario - withdrawing from the castle for days even weeks looking for a less bloody solution (seeking out the Circle) is simply not logical after seeing what the demon did to Redcliffe. The option to finish it then and there is the better option for the greater good.

@Invisible Man In agreement with what you are saying but ME3 always felt incomplete. I really enjoyed the first 70% of the game and then the writing/story felt unfinished.
I still think the Bioware team was forced to release the game earlier which would explain the departure of many of it's core group.

i agree that me3's ending did seem rushed, however, i also feel the tainted hand of the suits at ea toying around with the ending too. i think because of that it's possible the the ending would have been crap with all the time in the world. i did also enjoy about 70% of the game as well, although the game did seem to be a bit off overall... but their writing staff was swapped around a bit after the second game though.
