I'd do more with Steam if it weren't for my limited bandwidth. 25 GB doesn't go far enough for that and, I'm not one to stay up past midnight for my free zone to kick in just to download a game. When I get 150GB next year, then I will be doing more indie games off Steam.

My goto game is ME2 and ME3 please do not shoot me :-)
But I do like to role play and shoot something bad :-)
And I do love the keyboard and mouse on those 2 games
But me real goto feel real good game is Diablo 3 :-)
Please do not shoot me :-)
I like a game I can relax have fun drink a glass of wine and not worry about frame per seconds, they run solid 60 everywhere for me :-)

Hey, I liked ME2.
They improved some aspects over ME1, but I missed some of what they cut too.
After DA2 and what I heard of ME3, I still haven't played it.
Diablo 1 & 2 were good for their time and I get that fix from Grim Dawn now.
For a pure FPS I fire up Counterstrike, but that's not very often.

Used AMD as long as I can remember, they always delivered a somewhat smooth experience for me, until I've installed Blender and realized that AMD GPU power equals to 0 in sense of rendering a simple 3d scene. This moment when you realize that nVidia gts450 outperforms your r9 280x in 3d modeling software.
My next video card is definitely nvidia one.

ME3 is a great game better than ME2 and a much longer game with lots of politics involved.
I played it maybe 10 times now.
People did not like the ending.
Well they had to kill of Sheperd so they did it in a weird way.
I give that game a 9 out of 10 :-)

What idiot linked to Kotaku?
It's about time word of this fiasco got some traction outside the "PC Community Concerns" thread here.

Peregrinus,
Grim Dawn is my "go to" game of late.
Are you playing the PoE beta?
Other indie games of note:
Age of Decadence
Deathspank
E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy
Legend of Grimrock
Legends of Aethereus
Lords of Xulima
Starpoint Gemini 2
Tales of Maj'Eyal
Counting down to the beta for Darkest Dungeon ... 12 days.
Lot's of people don't like Steam for various reasons but I find it a great resource for indie games that we would never see in a store.
Yeah, I actually beat the single player aspect of POE. BTW, POE has been out of beta for a long while now. Out of beta but still free to play. I actually bought cosmetic items in their store to support them. I loved it and I love all of the free expansions. I'll go back to it once I have some faster internet.. It's not a good experience on my 4g connection. There's too much rubberbanding when I play with others. The boss in POE was really tough.

I'm quite indifferent about the whole situation now, so it's just entertainment for me.

Well... no. We just send our off-the-coastal monsters out if they interfere. ![]()

I hear so much about this project red thing and Witcher 3 are those out yet ? :-)
CD Projekt Red is the developer for Witcher 3. here's a video for ya. It's coming in about 5 months. They delayed it so they can Q&A their game for 6 months. They are really consistent about not wanting customers to deal with DRM, and very vocal about communicating with their fan base. It's usually the CEO and main members of the art and development team who tends to post updates and issue apologies when necessary. These guys are awesome!

Lot of the indy games are pretty small so you should be fine with the majority of them. You should definitely do Shadowrun Returns at least. It's tactical RPG at it's best with a huge mod community.
