Hey, I liked ME2.

They improved some aspects over ME1, but I missed some of what they cut too.

After DA2 and what I heard of ME3, I still haven't played it.

Diablo 1 & 2 were good for their time and I get that fix from Grim Dawn now.

For a pure FPS I fire up Counterstrike, but that's not very often.

Bioware went back and added the modified ending for ME3 so definitely get it on sale and play it. As much as I was irritated by the ending. The revised epilogue made it palatable. The game is fantastic til the last 10 minutes . And the last 10 minutes isn't so bad now that they went back and explained more about what the deal with the ending was.

I am looking forward to Star Citizen from Chris Roberts who said it will be PC only and never consoles.
I agree all those companies were put on the map by U.S. PC gamer and now they laugh in our faces.
I too look forward to Indy games :-)
Blizzard loved Diablo 3 I am still playing it, but they managed to make one for the console and it is probably bad on the console because of the type of game it is :-)

I think I'm gonna wait on Star Citizen.  I am a huge fan of games like Freespace, Descent, and Freelancer but my laptop just won't do the game justice so I'll have to wait til I build my next desktop.  As for Diablo 3..  It was okay but it was a disappointment to me after waiting over a decade for it. I beat it and the expansion and then uninstalled it.

Citadel DLC is imperative - I HIGHLY recommend it for ME3 along with the extended cut.

If you're not convinced (obviously don't watch if you're already going to get it):

Citadel + Extended cut restored my faith after ME3 ending, but now DAI... no, Ray and Greg has left. So it's all EA now.

I had hopes that Casey Hudson wouldn't leave but he did right after the extended cut.  He was the goto guy after Ray and Greg.  :(

Oh.  lol  Don't worry, I'm playing it on a laptop. I have everything pretty much on low. I'm the minimum requirement Bioware set for Dragon Age Inquisition.  Does it run okay for you besides the various issues we were talking about here? :)

If he ever starts or joins an indie though, I will most likely consider it. But yeah, it's quite sad.

Yeah, I actually beat the single player aspect of POE.  BTW, POE has been out of beta for a long while now. Out of beta but still free to play. I actually bought cosmetic items in their store to support them. I loved it and I love all of the free expansions. I'll go back to it once I have some faster internet.. It's not a good experience on my 4g connection. There's too much rubberbanding when I play with others. The boss in POE was really tough. :)

I actually meant Pillars of Eternity rather than Path of Exile.

Sorry about the confusion.

Oh.  Yeah, Pillars looks really promising but I think I'm gonna wait til it releases.  I'm already deep in Divinity Original Sin, and Wasteland 2, well as DAI and Torchlight 2.  You should try Path of Exile. It's what Diablo 3 wanted to be.  :)

If you as me I have pretty good performance. Running it at high, HBAO + textures on ultra, MSAA turned off. But GeForce Experience trying to set all setting on odd combination of low/medium B) I'm just ignore it.

Divinity is fking insane, and I don't know why some people say they don't like the story, I LOVE the story, it's fking epic. And this is coming from a Bioware fan - like come on. Characters, not so much though, sure, I just played a lone-wolf/glass-cannon run. TONS of fun, and even accidentality electrifying your own party when you're on water or charging at an enemy on ice only to slip and fall on your ass just made it even MORE fun lol!

And the music... THE FKING MUSIC OMFG!

My favourite track ->

Geforce Experience is very similar to Raptr for AMD.  Fairly worthless to be honest. Definitely ignore it and adjust settings til you are happy. It might not be a bad idea to just uninstall it and those 3d drivers Nvidia likes to install.  Have you tried it with SSAO instead of HBAO?

Yeah, I love their odd sense of humor, and the free DLC with the two additional characters really does add more interaction. I also like the tactics involved since environments are a big consideration. I agree with you on the music and the hilarious track that you sometimes hear in taverns.  :)

Absolutely agree with you. Played it last year and loved it.
Yes, it's high and naive (at times) fantasy, not so flashy as contemporary user accustomed, but good story, puzzles/quests.
And I believe Larian still keep adding stuff and for free (oh, horror  ).
And, according to Steam I clocked in D:OS one PT as I spend on two DA:I.
Guess what's my GOTY 2014 :P ?

I have uninstalled DA:I. I will just wait till they decide to do something.

Not holding my breath. I have a few suggestions on other stuff to try.

Shame about Bioware tho. I guess the good people left long ago!

Haha still remember that snowman chasing the rabbit in the winter level lol

Larian has always good humor, I actually bought Dragon Commander straight after, as I was so impressed, and then THIS (spoiler obviously):

Dragon Commander is pretty generic as an RTS, but it's the RP and humor aspects of it that made it worthwhile. Not to mention music, once again, is great!

Yeah, thought about uninstalling it a few times, but to lazy for now  ;) .

And no, never tried SSAO.

Tell me about it!

Not to mention it had 30 fking ability slots!!! Then it got patched quickly to 50!!! (I had 1 whole bar full of different types of crafted arrows lol)

But what do we get from EA? "8 slots as a limitation is for tactical depth"

Ooooooooooook.... anyway, moving on.

Oh another track (also my fav - on par with end of time):

Hell I still remember just sitting back in the midst of gameplay, just absorbing this track.

Still remember AJ said on his blog, 2014 was a year of disappointment for him. For me though, just depends on where you look. If you follow after just the AAA titles, sure, but the indie scene is really shining, just don't expect fancy marketing, no, the money goes into the GAME.
