Dude, I don't either. I suffer from PTSD and lately it's been tough sleeping. Freaking neighbors are all renters. I used to live in a great neighborhood and a secluded one at that. Then San Antonio went on a building spree in my area starting a decade ago. Now, every original neighbor is gone. I am surrounded by renters. I keep hearing about the violence and break-ins that are in my area. I was so looking forward to Inquisition because the story keeps me in that zone where I can get away and have fun. Daily life is already a grind, why would Bioware go the MMO route again is beyond me. Bioware is out of free passes as far as I'm concerned. They're not concerned about the community or their brand. They've got games to pump out because they won GOTY and they're above us. You know, if Inquisition wasn't such a freaking mess at launch, no one would've heard from me. 

 

Ah, nothing beats when you're IN the zone. When you just want to switch off... and instead you end up on the forums going WTF Bioware EA?!

 

Like you I also wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the WTF. Hell, still remember posting "Please fix the game so I can get off the bloody forum and play!" Funny though, meeting others in the same boat, we make new friends! lol so that's the silver lining I guess. "Silver lining", I actually started using that phrase from Bioware, forgot which game. *sigh* RIP

 

Anyway, pretty awesome group we have here I must admit. Only reason I'm here now is you guys, I'm done with EA.

Metalworking, first job I had was welding, guess it's different, was stuck making trailers all day and as I was a teenager - for $6 an hour, argh! "Junior Steel Fabricator", hell don't think I can do that again lol

Actually, no. It's because I hold a degree in business, that I despise bad marketing.  Values based marketing with good values, YES PLEASE (example: the Witcher series). can't do business (or law but it's the same) without that these days...

If you want advice about software QA, I did it for fifteen-sixteen years for Amex, WorldCom (sorry, not my fault), FedEx, and an independent.  I got out for a reason, however.  I am a happy web admin now.

I was holding the mic. I basically MCd the events, so I would introduce, commentate and award prizes. I was also liaison from Namco to Eurogame, Samsung, Hori, and a few other companies. But mostly I worked a lot on video including video assets and animations for the stream.
