A planet called "K". He's an alien obviously. But as long as he's a pc-playing alien I guess it's okay. :D

According to Google.  Check-Out-Our-NEW-HOT-SAUCE-Section!-We-

I wonder what Cyan picked up from there.  :o     I'm guessing e-cig.

No the patch was installed in the right place as per the readme file :)

I think it is the version that I have, that may be slightly different

I have the directors cut version of the game

That could be the issue :)

Godzilla

It is hard to believe that I could run DAI all on high settings at 60FPS

And I have to run DA2 on DX9

If I try DX11 solid crash as in rebooting the PC

Ya, that's very possible.  You don't really need the mods to enjoy that game though.  :)

Don't feel too bad , Matrix.  I tried the demo for DA2 when it first came out, and it would hard lock my gaming desktop.  Everything else ran buttery smooth at the time.

I do believe I had a Geforce GTS450 1 gig DDR5 at the time.  Yep, it was that video card and AMD Athlon 5600+ .  It even ran Skyrim at a good pace when that came out.

Here's the thing though. I don't remember having to use a mod to walk in the Witcher.  :)

That is because the Canadian dollar is going down the toilet

Hence why it is more expensive :)

But the GTX 980 is expensive but it is only 100 dollars cheaper than the Titan Black :)

So I have to decide Titan or GTX980

My dealer is having a hard time getting the Titan in, so time will tell :-)

Well that's because it wasn't really missing. There was click-to-move in The Witcher which let you walk or run, depending how far the mouse pointer was in relation to Geralt.

Admitely though I was more into the OTS (over the shoulder) camera and you could only run with this. So yeah...I set aside an element of classical rpgs in favor for a more action-oriented approach Shame on me. :P

You should just wait til you can get a Titan.  I think it will have better longevity in the long run.  Your 560 is still kicking ass anyway, right?  :)

Ok, that makes total sense. I never did use OTS much. I did like the way that looked but I much preferred the normal mode. :>

It will tell what kind of human you are....kinda. :D

The Titan is something to brag with, a brute-force approach to performance which doesn't care about your electricity bill or how much of the energy is wasted in form of heat. It's like an american muscle car or maybe a super sport car.

The GTX 980 is a reasonable approach to performance, very power-efficent, generates only low heat and is a true sign of modern technology. Like a Tesla Roadster.

lol

The Titan reminds of me of a 3dfx Voodoo 2 64mb from back in the day.   :)

I have a GTX570 not 560 :-)

And I think you are right I will wait for the Titan :-)

@Godzilla

There no such a thing as brute force when it comes to video card :-)

And the power bill will not go much higher than a dollar a month :-)

:P

Clearly you don't remember those geforce cards that needed a fan as loud as a jet engine to cool the card. :D

The Asus Titan is well designed and is 30% cooler than the Nvidia Titan Black :-)

You just do not want me to have the top card on the market in my machine :)

But with the Titan I will be set for the next 2 to 3 years :)

Peregrinus is correct

The Asus Titan is actually extremely quiet since it does not have to work hard to run the top games :)

I added a video above. Jeez, you folks post so quickly. :D

Yeah, those where the days. I guess playing games using headphones was invented back then, so you could actually hear the game over your pc. xD

I will be patient and follow Peregrinus suggestion :-)

I will wait for my dealer to get the Asus Titan in

It may take a month , but they will get some in soon enough :)

And who cares about the few dollars of electricity :)

Yeah, Asus definitely know what they are doing. They use that awesome heat pipe heatsink on majority of their cards and they do the job well.  I also love their monitors.  Colors are so vibrant on them.

Yep that is what I have right now the Asus GTX570 Direct CU II with the heat pipe technology

And it was running DAI on high settings at solid 60FPS

Asus know how to make amazing components :-)

My mobo is Asus also and it is rock solid, and I did have an Asus monitor 140HZ and it was an amazing monitor :-)

Yeah, their mainboards are great too.  I had my dual core Athlon 2.8 gig overclocked to 3.4 gig on just air cooler with no voltage adjustments. That was a while back.

It's pretty funny now that I think of my desktop.  My laptop destroys that gaming desktop I had.. I never imagined I would be able to play games fluently on a laptop.  :)

Do you type slow?   Just wondering because I have the slowest internet on planet earth right now.  :)
