Just to prove the game was made for console and a contrler :-)
But I wander if you were to put an FPS counter on that, we would see the FPS going up and down :-)
Not to worry in a year or so from now it may work well on the PC :-)
But then again I tend to have high Hope :-)

Same here real cold :-)
-22c going to -29C overnight:-)
And lots of snow :-)
Yo, that's crazy. I forgot what cold like that felt. I'm chilled now when the weather hits the low 50s. Texas. Freaking summer 10 months of the year and a cold spring for two months.

My rig is built around a 3gh quad core processor, single radeon HD 6850 gpu, 4gigs ram, etc. What kind of rig do you have now? What happened to your arm?
As for my arm, shattered my wrist about 17 years ago, wasn't set properly, sprained it 3 years later, followed by surgery. Can't lift over 10 pounds with my left hand with out risking more damage. And my left hand either hurts like hell or it feels dead, but I can still move my fingers. It flip-flops seemingly at random.
---edit
And my rig is 5-6 years old

See no devs on the PC community thread btw, all in the MP section. A known issues thread would do wonders, or planned changes to the PC interface.

I feel like a winter-wimp in comparison. The worst we get here is -10°C on a few days maybe, if at all. Below zero has as of yet been reserved fomr a few nights and during the days we currently get around +2°C...which is "cold" for me lol. ![]()
But yeah, Canada. I was there once and figured how winter would probably look like. I don't know whether it's coincidence or not that many buildings were not build as being "ground level", but instead their living rooms started a good 2 to 3 meters upstairs. Guess when there is a couple of meters of snow that's a good thing. ^^

Freaking finally! I've replaced my fried PSU. Damn, that feeling when you replace ol'relayble 750W with brand new 620W and keep your system stressed so you could see if it holds.
What did I miss?

Is it really? I have not kept up too well since I've been on my laptop. I do recall seeing a 6850 gpu on Newegg and thinking.. That's really overkill.
Your arm situation sounds like you need to sue a doctor.

as for my gpu, I originally had a radeon x1600 in this rig, though my x1600 had a meltdown about 3 years ago, then my psu (a 450w at the time), replaced it with a 750w unit, then my vent fans, replaced them as well. now, it seems my processor or motherboard is showing a few warning signs of failing... as for my arm, the only person I can really sue is the nurse at my old middle-school, though when she set it I was squirming and screaming like a japanese fan girl, no offense to actually Japanese fan girls... the doctor who did the actually surgery warned me, that my current situation was a likely outcome, though I didn't care as the pain I was in was extreme. my situation is manageable currently, if annoying at times, though it gets me out of doing dishes, as I've dropped a few in the past.

I was looking through all my old pc stash and I found a 64 bit version of Far Cry on disc, well as 3 dvd editions of Dragon Age Origins, 2 copies of Baldur's Gate 2 Shadows of Amn, well as my old copy of Rainbow Six Vegas. I'm very tempted on installing the Far Cry , Baldur's Gate 2 and Rainbow Six.

What do you have in your system? That's a severe downgrade from a 750W, no?

Is it safe to say that we're looking at Patch 5 around the end of February? The tactical camera is so freakin' inconsistent that I'm waving the white flag. Even in God mode, I am utterly bored with Inquisition. I thought maybe by playing a warrior (bad idea on visuals while closing a rift and wearing a shield) I could master the tactical camera instead of plowing through it the first time as a standing-still mage. I just can't do it. Even if you move the camera around to compensate for the very low top-down view, it still manages to screw turning (sometimes it turns left instead of moving left or strafing left) and not even reach the target. NO ONE TESTED THIS BULLCRAP. NO ONE DID. They plugged a joystick in and said, "Whoa. The tac cam works great (omitting the part they are using a XBOX controller)." I have zero interest in buying any DLC or expansions for this game. I could give a rip about ME4 too.

@Peregrinus
Exactly what I was saying :-)
PSU is like a condom better to have one
GODzilla
That is why I did not buy a cheap PSU
Enermax silent Pro Gold @1.2KW
Yes was close to 400 dollars PSU and now I have nothing to worry about :-)
True some people get caught up in the big numbers when it comes to PSU, but let say a PSU my size for 89 dollars , do you think I would suggest that to anyone or even buy one :-)?
when you need one, then not have one when needed :-)
@Peregrinus
Sure sounds like it :-)
So they will set the driver to make sure it does not go past 3.5Gig
But Nvidia is not saying when they will release :-)
ATI took advantage of this and lowered their 270 by 1 hundred dollars making it in the 349 dollars price range :-)
And yes I am not an AMG it ATI girl
Will stick with Intel and Nvidia :-)
Not saying there is problems with AMD hardware, it comes down to performance :-)
This thread is getting too naughty for me.

The tac cam has zero value even if you use a controller. That's actually what I'm doing now because mouse/keyboard is so awkward for this game. Playing this on anything higher then normal with no tactics is irritating at best.

Does anyone know what software or suite of programs is Bioware using for their promotional videos? The cinematics are really beautiful.
