I think we have to get on with the 21st century

As I said no one is forcing the player to play a gay character, but the option should not be taken out because of narrow minded people

Don't get me wrong, MatrixGirl.  I don't have any problems with games that have those options but when it feels like it's shoehorned into the game, it really takes the game experience away.  I think a perfect example of that is actually in Mass Effect 3 with the shuttle pilot.

What do you mean exactly? The talk with Iron Bull or the small personal quest with Dorian? I thought it was both okay. Didn't felt forced.

That part just felt like it was really front and center for me. Every other scenario in the game was perfectly fine.   I do agree with you the whole "maker" thing was rather heavy handed in DAI.  It gets worse later in the game.  

 

I haven't played it in a long while . I'll have to go back and see if I feel the same way now.

Anyway I do not tolerate bigotry , and would not work with people like that

 

I work HR and I deal with all kind of people and I rather have gay people than people who try to push religion on me

Plus in ME3 the shuttle pilot just said he lost his husband

 

And he was a damn fine pilot

 

He did not say I lost my husband and lets go to your cabin and have se* Shep

 

So it was not pushed on you in my opinion

Well if it is an RPG game, and there is sex in it

 

It does not bother me that the LGBT community has a say in it

Thats a silly thing to go on about.. Why would there be a problem with a black storm trooper?  Its not one of the clones right? Some people need something to whine about..

As for tolerance.. That goes both way.. We should be tolerant of people who are fine with someones lifestyle, and someone who isnt, as long as theyre not nasty about it.. I could care less is someone doesnt like someone for any reason, thats their business, and right..As long as it doesnt have an effect on another person.. Someones feelings being hurt likewise, shouldnt take presidence over actual rights however..

Its one sale for like 23$ on Steam, for this weekend btw for anyone holding out for a sale!

Ive only been here a day.. Loving the people..Amazing how somethign as simple as gaming, can  bring people together.. From allover the spectrum

Wont get a fight out of me I play both games right now

 

And I love both games

 

But I uninstalled DAI and got a refund for the game because it was a bad game, and Amazon does not know anything about DRM

 

So got my money back but I can go on my Origin account and download the Deluxe edition for free since it is still on my list of games and I own the CD key

 

So in 6 month or a year from now when they fix it I just download it again :-)

 

Thank you for the free game Bioware even if it is bad

 

and I have pre ordered TW3, at least I can trust CDPR
