Thats a silly thing to go on about.. Why would there be a problem with a black storm trooper?  Its not one of the clones right? Some people need something to whine about..

Guys, I didn't want to post tonight as I badly need some sleep...but, what Essorance did to Lebanese Dude was epic (and hilarious)!

 

Check the closed thread and let's give Essorance some likes (yeah, I can be a like bi***atch if I want to).

 

This guy is the WORST user on this forum. A complete a**sshole. I told him to go make love to himself three or four times already.

Essorance still beats me by a long margin though. His use of gifs and sarcasm and knowledge of game culture is flawless.

 

I tend to prefer to use political/literary references since I can't stand college kids with Women Studies major or other would-be social activists.

 

 

Seriously, to call Suikoden 2,which may be the best JRPG in existence, along with Xenogears and Final Fantasy 6 (3 in the US) and maybe Shadow Hearts Covenant, 'Suidoken'? I mean really, Dude from Cedar tree land?

 

And then he goes on to pretend he could program this marvelous 100+ hours gem of a game in one day. This is simply outrageous, or pathetic.

 

Maybe both.

Yea Witcher wasd one of only 3 games i repurchased for Pc, after haivng playe don console.. Skyrim, and Dragon Age Origins, being teh other two.. What a series.. 1 was a little slow, mostly due to the fact i played it last year for the 1st time, so im a bit spoiled by newer aged games.. But it was definitely epic for its time.. Very long, and mythodical, but worth it! Especially when i started up TW2 again, and had the armor and swords i worked so hard for in TW1!  lol..

 

I agree whole heartedly about DA:i.. It just feels so half assed, and cheap.. I dont even... sigh.. it almost hurts, ya know?  I LOVED bioware games! i Literally held them on a pedestal all their own.. I did Blizzard as well.. Years ago.. It just seems like they all make games now, to try to cater to all crowds, instead of sticking to what they each did best respectively.. It literally saddens me.. And im not usually the emotional type...Im yoour stereotypical meathead, idiot, lol.. Very little tech savvy, but dammit, i love my video games.. 

 

I have to have my wife build my computer, lol.. i wouldve completely broke it in frustration... Gimme a hammer, nails, and some wood, and im golden!

Except I lost mine after 7 hours of DAI I did not have one single glitch in that game, worked smooth and fast on my machine and now would run twice as fast

 

The game bored me to death after 7 hours with all those silly side quest , it felt like it was badly done and they ran out of ideas

 

And I did not like the interface at all, the game to me is pure junk, but as I said it is free for me

 

And I dislike consoles and would rather drink a bottle of drain pipe cleaner than play a console game

There is literally nothing i can refute in this statement.. lol.. I could be posterboy for impatience! lol With a hot temper to boot.. (Not a good combo for a father of 4)  I have all daughters too.. Man am i in for it! 

 

That game.. ugh.. I took it fully too. I gave it a fair shake.. 178hrs my 1st play through.. So bad.. Now, i will give credit where it due.. The companions, and main story (however short, and with a pathetic main enemy) were well done.. 

 

For what smooth is considered in this game, i assume it runs at it on mine as well.., But i still had Directx crashes, framerate drops during cutscenes, and when panning the camera in certain terrain.. Sound drop in and out.. It was just terribly put together, and blatantly rushed! So many corners cut..

 

Im glad you got  it for free, but you still got ripped off!

I used to prefer consoles for my Assassins Creeds, and Arkham Games,  (shooters, and racing if i played them at all) and PC for my rpgs, rts, mmo, etc.. Im extremely poor, so when my pc has a part needs replacing, it hurts.. Still havent seen anything to warrant the new gen console either though!  Which reminds me of another point.. The greed it took to tune DA:I down to last gen capability was another huge middle finger to the PC crowd.. As if a console port isnt bad enough, we got one that was gimped by ps3/360

Just dropping in as I very occasionally do to say hello to you fine people AND to share something!

 

If any of you are still trudging through Inquisition, there is a mod that  was released not too long ago that greatly improves my immersion and hopefully yours as well.

Perhaps some of you might already know of its existence.

It's called Conversation Camera Zoom and essentially what it does is, when you roll the mouse wheel forward you will zoom in closer to whoever your character is conversing with that feels a bit closer to the likes of Origins and DA2 style conversations. It's not perfect, you need to angle your character just right so that you don't zoom completely off-target, but it's certainly better than what we're presented with in the vanilla game.

 

For some stupid reason, DA:I nexus isn't loading for me at present (the nexus sites do this at times), but it isn't hard to find. Once the site is working again, I'll post a link. But it's definitely worth checking out!

Thank you for the mod info. It still doesn't help that some NPCs are whispering, but this at least shows off the graphics.
