Awh thanks I woke up to those nice messages

Yeah, I guess I can be quite a spectacle when I get riled up.

Also, I'd like to put forward to the first:

PC Players Group Legislation, Chapter I, Article I

Any group member who posts their intent to go out and referencing their clothing which relates to:

i) skirts ending above the knee

or

ii) ANY clothing which could be considered 'tight'

or

iii) heels which are 3 inches in length or above

MUST post a selfie before leaving or face the repercussions of the group, which may include instant dismisal or a personal recorded apology.

All in favour?

Aye.

aye

Dude, I don't either. I suffer from PTSD and lately it's been tough sleeping. Freaking neighbors are all renters. I used to live in a great neighborhood and a secluded one at that. Then San Antonio went on a building spree in my area starting a decade ago. Now, every original neighbor is gone. I am surrounded by renters. I keep hearing about the violence and break-ins that are in my area. I was so looking forward to Inquisition because the story keeps me in that zone where I can get away and have fun. Daily life is already a grind, why would Bioware go the MMO route again is beyond me. Bioware is out of free passes as far as I'm concerned. They're not concerned about the community or their brand. They've got games to pump out because they won GOTY and they're above us. You know, if Inquisition wasn't such a freaking mess at launch, no one would've heard from me.

You know somebody diagnosed that to me after 2 horrible years...thought it was bul*lshit at the time. Not so sure now.

The only medication I found useful is forgiveness of others (cf Jesus' message), coupled with exercise, exhaustion and some alcohol to ease sleeping.

Some light meditation technique (ASMR video helped others)

Eat a lot as well and express yourself as well.

NEVER MIX ANXYOLITICS (VALIUM LEXOMIL DIAZEPAM AND SUCH POISONS) WITH ALCOHOL

AND CUT YOURSELF COMPLETY FROM MEDIA COVERAGE OF VIOLENT/POLITICAL EVENTS.

little harsh there. how about instead of instaban, a round of drinks at the local nudiebar?

as for the topic at hand, EA's a blight... where's a warden or 12 when you need one?

Off-topic,

I would rather be playing some Dragon Age Origins tonight, but instead I've accidentally gotten myself slightly intoxicated (though not so much as to not be able to type properly). Help me.

And thanx for the links to bttyer Inquisition experience mods.. I may try them out.. Though i use NMM, im not sure i could get my dumb self to understand another MM, lol

I have all those mods and they are great!

This was posted on PC Community Concerns. Cracked me up! Elhanan was posting a fair amount of rubbish!

Errationatus, on 07 Feb 2015 - 01:24 AM, said:snapback.png

No, no, no...  psssst!

C'mere, while she h'aint lookin'...  listen kids, maybe Elhanan is right.  No, no, bear with me here.  Maybe she is.

We can't match the sheer perfection she exudes with every post, nor the unprecedented clarity with which she sees and knows all.  She's even sussed out how many of us are just disgruntled liars and EA-hatin' malcontents (that smell of anime-fueled farts and stale brony soda gives it away) with no actual issues.

We have to accept that few mortals - and certainly none of the smelly unwashed fedora-wearing knuckle-draggers in this thread - can match such peerlessnessness and overarching intellectual insight.  I mean, she pretty much tells us that every time she deigns to post.

Can't you feel the benevolence that flows just from her presence down in the sewer among us?  It's like being able to afford maybe ..two! extra! cans of sterno for our boxes all at once!

I hate to say it, but fighting it is just...  i dunno.  Look, I think all we can do now is...  yeah.  All we can do now is STOP.  That's right.  There's nothing wrong with our copies of DA:I.  The game is not inadequate for us, WE are inadequate for this game.  US.  With our inadequacies.  This game are is inadequate for it us/we be.

We need to offer devoted slop-tonguey praise to our EA overlords, that's all.  It's all we can do.

"You'll pay and you'll slog and you'll STFU and you'll like it!" as EA's motto reminds us. Look you to our Superior thus:  this is obviously the winning strategy utilized to experience her peerless parleys of paragonic 835000 hours of absolute trouble-free (and no doubt astonishing) play and fantastically erudite virtue what with her sentence-putting together expertise.  She do talked good.  We all gots ta listen.  We be humble and acknowledge her am obvious superness to us'n.

Get this through your heads:

None of our concerns are legit in the face of ONE PERSON NOT HAVING ANY PROBLEMS.  This existential perfection that exists for Elhanan is thus true for all.  As above, so below, don't'cha know.

THERE'S NOTHING WRONG.  How many times does she and "Bioware" have to tell us?

THERE'S NOTHING WRONG.  Repeat it, fellow ingrates, repeat it and live it.  Ye shall be cleansed.

NOTHING.

WRONG.

I am amazed at the level of talent in this community. I have the deepest respect for you all.

Putting the mods in is very easy! You just have to be aware that DAI Patch Version can mess with the mod manager. Tho as soon as a patch comes out they update the manager quickly!

I particularly like the Josephine mod  and Cassandra without scar!

I cant stand Elhanan.. Theres a few of them that drive me nuts.. All of which are the DA:I defender squad.. They seem to just go from thread, to thread with the intent of just being the lone supporter of DA:I garbage!  That post was hilarious... Maybe Sig worthy?

Tobyjake:

Which mod manager would that be? Nexus Mod Manager? or Dragon Age Inquisition Mod Manager? I started to cruze the nexus, but was quickly intimidated with what i was seeing.. I went nuts with skyrim, as it all worked with NMM (except for SkyRe, Reproccer, etc. which ill never play Skyrim without again), But installing a new mod manager im not sure about.

Update:  Just finished The Mage Tower Fade in Origins.. Phew! Im too PC illiterate to manually install mods.. So i am pretty much stuck with Origins as is.. NMM i can do.. Just not manual installs.. Really wanted them Ancient Elven Boots too   :(

Believe it or not after all these years I still use the vanilla mod manager for Skyrim, because everything else keeps reseting my load order. Maybe I should give NMM another try.

I use mod managers for every other Bethesda game except Skyrim, and Skyrim's got the most mods for me.

Nexus mod manager works beautifully for Skyrim. I can give a thumbs up on it.

Thats what i use.. NMM, and BOSS... Havent had a single issue, and i have well over 2,000hrs in Skyrim.. Maybe 3, i really cannot tell anymore. Not that im any kind of authority, bnut theyve also implemented Virus software in their uploading.. Awhile back someone was infecting mods, or uploading infected ones maybe.. Theyve been isolated, cleaned, and have since upgraded their saftey features.. Very m uch a fan of Nexus, and their Mod manager!

I think a my peak, i had about 100 mods for Skyrim!  Still, the single most rewarding one, i must say, is "Skyrim Redone" (SkyRe).. After beating the game a few times, and starting to feel the sort of chore in it, this definitely brought new life to the game.. Its like playing a brand new game!

I have over 100+, which means I'll have to reorder 100+ mods if I make the switch heh - think I'll give it another run once the new version of Inigo comes out.

For now I'm killing time with Shadowrun and the new mods for M&B

Thats what BOSS is for.. It organizes, and sorts them properly...Automatically, more importantly.. 1 click, and theyre sorted for you in you Mod List

https://boss-developers.github.io/

I knew nothing about load order, and once i got so many mods, my game became unstable.. A sinple reorganizing fixed that.. Fortunately, BOSS came highly recommended at the time. Good luck :)

Get the specific DAI Mod manager. It's on Nexus. Just follow the readme and all will be revealed.

I was just looking through Nexus again, and i didnt really see any mods on there at all.. Everything was pajama recolors, or minor retextures (barely noticeable), hair colors..  Maybe sometime later, though i doubt it with FB3..

Actually....I think im just done with it.. I beat it once, and it felt more like a chore than anything.. Never before have i had to make myself play a game, just to see if i might enjoy it at some point.. Bioware especially.. Yea, im done...

But thanx anyway.. I do appreciate the help, and advice..

While the non-mainquest-maps can be tedious and boring, Emprise du Lion really surprised me. Not many fetchquests, and if present then they are always ahead and along the way you have to go anyway. So no back and forth and repeat. A clear goal - fighting my way uphill, which felt challenging and rewarding, with the Inqusition camps being errected once I cleared an area. Liberating the rest of the map felt very satisfying (because it was closely tied to one of the main antagonists commanders) and his army and then in the end you get the big, fat keep. :)

Cool map outside of the awe-inspiring mainquest storyline.

And then the dragons...what battles those are. I defeated most of them on "Hard", some even on "Nightmare". The last one in Emprise du Lion was 2 level above me (23, my party was 21) and it was really, really close.

Even managed to capture the glory of this fight in a screenshot:

7cayjn8o.jpg

Was using some kind of multiple-fire-mine, but it definitely looked like out of a Francis Ford Coppola movie in Vietnam. :D

Conclusion: The concept for that map is very solid. I wish all were that good. Comparing it to the Emerald Graves for instance...so much lost potential on this map. These two big villas were lifeless and the second one, where they tried to put some horror into the game and failed miserably...

Haven't tried the latest version, personally I prefer to organise the mod order myself. My game has always been stable as I've grew accustomed to the system since Morrowind heh

nite matrix...

I actually had twice as many mods for oblivion, the mod manager I was using made swapping mods around a lot easier, mainly by tracking what mods a particular savegame was using, and allowing me to load all the mods a particular save needed with a simple double click.
oh, and I miss the MIC, and epic music overhaul mods. skyrim could have really used them.
