@Sutree  I wonder that myself.  lol   :)

That evil smiley face after every sentence makes me wonder if you are not  desire demon. I´d love if you were.

OK, something weird going on here, there absolutely was no "LIKE" button in that post before ... but there is now.

I don't know how they count them either.

I ran out of 'likes' earlier today @ work, but an hour later I could 'like' again.

That's so strange but I think the forums are "beta" .    lol

Because :microtransactions?

Or maybe it's going to be ME MMO?

My guess is it will be crap either way. These forums, on the other hand, will be full of fun when it is released!

It makes me sad but It's kinda what I expected after ME3.  :(

They tend to make more money on including multiplayer based on the sheer number of people who play games for the social aspects (no matter what flavor, FPS, RPG, etc.) and the amount really does outweigh the number of "single player" favorites in the industry.

Multiplayer also adds it's own replayability- thus strengthening the longevity of a game. Interactions between players can be different almost every time- whereas single player experiences may be different yet predictable in outcomes.

That said, I think it depends on the "theme" of a game- and whether it truly makes sense to incorporate multiplayer, not just for monetary reasons (microtransactions included) but also whether it changes the initial feel/setting of a game. *inserts 2 copper pieces*

Trying to set up Voice Attack for Elite Dangerous - ah hell I'm just trying to set it up on the computer so I can create a profile for ED - it's like getting a new mobile phone... Confusing and makes me feel old!

Okay, I have to ask and I figure it's safe to do so here... the game has been out what 11 weeks? That's 1848 hours, right?

How on EARTH can people have clocked 900 hrs on the game? I mean the fact it's really quite awful notwithstanding, that is almost 12hrs/ day...every day for 11 weeks. I'm not usually one to judge but really...How?

That must be people who do not work for a living or they could be retired :-)
Or 12 years old living in their parents basement with no lives:-)
And love a real bad game and enjoy pain :-)

Why are you two still awake?   :)

I was watching Armageddon on TV.  That movie always makes me cry.  I must have some emotional problems . It's always that movie, and dove soap commercials.

Yeah, that seems pretty extreme but maybe they are exaggerating or they don't work at all like MG is sayin.  :)

Don't get me wrong, I've played my share of marathons (16hr session on Monster Hunter once lol!) But every day? And really, this game?  I dunno, even if it was a great game, at some point you need to go outside and breath for a bit, yes?

Or maybe it's just me being a slave to horses, time consuming buggers that they are!

And it's only 8:15pm here in Aussieland! I'm getting the hang of my HOTAS but must break to...give hay to horses!

BTW Peregrinus, Armageddon makes me cry too- only with laughter at how godawful it is lol! I was rooting for the asteroid the whole way through...

But I have watched Battleship numerous times (Taylor Kitsch FTW) and adore Pacific Rim so my taste could be considered questionable. :P

I loved Armageddon also and Pacific Rim :-)

And it chokes me up at the end also

But the movie that chokes me off the most is DragonHeart ;-(

Knight of the old code

Played by Dennis a quaid and Draco voiced by Sean Connery

So sad when he dies at the end ;-(

Anyway I am looking forward to seeing 50 Shades of Grey the movie this weekend:-)

I heard it is more tame than the advertising made people think it is. ^^

I know but I still want to see it :-)
But yesterday there was the talking faces on CNN
One girl saying it was an interesting movie
The other one armed with her bible saying the movie should not be shown because it degrades women and promotes violence against women :-)
Hell the girl wants kinky sex and says yes it is not violence :-)
Funny how the one saying that was fat and ugly, maybe she needs a good dose of rough sex, might make her smile a bit more :-)

DragonHeart was quite good. Sean Connery did a great job with voice acting.  :>

What the heck is a "now generation console"?

Quote:

The actual job ad is seeking people to:

Create and champion the vision of the multi-player, connected experiences and online features of the game which respects the project leadership goals and be accountable for the quality targets and the results achieved.

What a load of double-speak crap!
