@Peregrinus
I never read the books, supposedly they were not well written anyway :-)

 Fifty Shades of Grey has topped best-seller lists around the world, including those of the United Kingdom and the United States.[5][6] The series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide and been translated into 52 languages,[7] and set a record in the United Kingdom as the fastest-selling paperback of all time

pulled that from the wiki.   sheesh.

I know, right? Man you should have seen the kerfuffle of ruffled feathers on the Absolute Write forum when that thing came out lol! But yeah, started as a free online read on some Twilight FanFic site, got super popular, so some small cafe press (I think it was an Aussie one from memory) got involved...can't recall if they outright published it or if the deal fell through and someone else grabbed it...

I dunno, but it took off like nothing on earth either way. Haven't read it myself, and won't be reading it because from all reliable reports it is the literary equivalent of DA:I ...unreadable if you have standards! lol!

Same thing happened to a lesser extent with Captive Prince (which I have read) started out online, got popular and then Penguin picked it up for good $$.

Putting your work up for free is a reasonable option if you want to get published it seems. :)

So, do I wipe my ED save with my pitifully crippled ship and not enoguh $$ to fix it and start again, or struggle on and try to limp around until I earn enough credits to mend it?

And Twilight love or not,  I will always love you MG!

I loathed that Avatar movie too so I'm used to being out of sync with the rest of the world lol! The rest of your list is pretty damned solid though so we can forgive the Twilight thing easily enough.

Hell, I am a Yaoi addict- I have a vast collection of it, even have Gakuen Heaven on DVD lol!

hopefully they won't butcher the Blade Runner movie that's coming out.  Thankfully it's still Ridley Scott directing it.

I'd make a copy of Taylor Kitsch, and keep it all to myself. :P

I'm in two minds about the Bladerunner remake, does it need remaking? It already has all the awesome- and Rutger Haeur, what can they do that won't kill it?

I bet they give that Channing Tatum or whatever his name is a part lol!

It's apparently going to be a semi-sequel. In the same universe, and Harrison Ford will very likely make a cameo but it will be new characters/story.

Enterprise was the DAI of the Star Trek franchise
@LunaFancy
I agree it does not need a remake even worst with Tattum as Deckard :-)

You know what I loved? Stargate SG1- not Atlantis, SG1. MacGyver in Space, now that was quality entertainment. I was at a party once, when I was in the middle of rewatching the series on DVD, and everyone was kind of dull- talking about cars and fashion ...booooring. Anyway I remember looking around and thinking 'I have Stargate SG1' to watch, what am I doing here? So I left. And watched Stargate. It was a great night after all lol!

Not all of us! Speak for yourself lol! The only werewolf stuff I'll watch is Dogf Soldiers, Gingersnap, American Werewolf in London, proper horror stuff. Same goes for Vampires- Blade, John Carpenter's Vampires, that relatively recent one Daywalkers or something like that.

Twilight, no. I did like the first three seasons of True Blood though.
