Firstly, I am In-fallibly in love with this game. I am 115 hours deep and I only wished there were more hours (in a day) I could spend towards defeating Corypheus. That being said, however, tragically, the best part about this game is also it's worst, for me.

Until I met the Highland Ravager, the screen tear and frame drops were bearable, mostly, during dragon fights. I have managed to defeat it, on hard but I am certain at times my fps on PS4 may have been like 5-8 fps, while fighting this monstrosity...uggh. Irritating!

Some minor annoyances I have come across.

- Varric's novel copies still keep littering the skyhold, even after finishing the quest.

- The Research table should have been available at all strongholds. It's tedious having to turn in research at skyhold/New Haven (it's a game)

- Solas's Inner Circle quest, seems broken (In Exalted Marches). The Demon appears, but is unresponsive.

This is my first posting on these forums, so be kind and provide relevant feedback. I don't need lecturing on which version of the game i should have purchased. I have 680 SLI but i intended on playing co-op with my friends on psn, who may not have afforded a gaming rig. so there.

I have never in over 100 hours of play on my PS4 had any noticable screen tears or frame rate drops. I've never had single digit frames on any PS4 game.

Well, you could start by posting in the correct section lol..

I've never seen a drop in framerate like that.  The book quest, yes, the books are there to stay and it is annoying.  If you have a quest where something bugged just reload and it will most likely fix the issue.

When you put it that way (I have NEVER), you sound like a fanboy. I am not the only one.
Proof:

Just thinking out loud here, I have read somewhere that this Dragon is unique in the sense that It keeps spawning dragonlings, infinitely(The one at Radcliffe stops at a certain juncture). Some had suggested that it(frame rate drop) attributes to the loot that drops when you kill those pesky minions. But just google, "Highland Ravager frame rate", there are plenty of unanswered threads made out.

Oh god, not the "correct section"police. Sorry officer. By the way, reloading the game doesn't fix the issue. It was just a minor annoyance, because I love to read codex and I am always looking for codex entries.

Actually, now that you post the video, this did happen to me once.  I think I was playing 12-14 straight hours and it happened, like my PS4 got overwhelmed with data or something idk.  I shut the PS4 off, then restarted.  Issue went away.

I killed that dragon, no frame rate problem. If not having a frame rate problem makes me a fan boy then so be it. If you're calling me a liar then jump in a lake.

You had nothing relevant to contribute towards my issue(with the game). If you didn't have the same issue, you had no reason to comment on it, like the innumerable others.
I wonder who's trolling who? Logic much?

Just now noticed this.  Is it really that hard to post in the correct section?  Yeah, the "correct section police" is on your case.  Being ignorant and dumb may be a God given right, but I also have the right to call you out on it.  If there weren't sections in the forums then posting would be complete anarchy with everything mixed all over the place.  It is important, and disregarding such makes you look lazy and/or unintelligent.

Well your thread is titled "Does anyone else experience this (PS4)?". I posted saying no so...answering the question you posted is trolling? Indeded, logic much? But I can see what kind of poster you are so I'm just gonna put you on ignore.

By your first response, it is apparent that you took my account on experiencing frame rate issues on PS4, as somehow berating towards the console.

You may as well have worded it "NEVER ON MY PS4, BLASPHEMY!! NEVER"

I urge you to read your response again to make sense of the undertones on your first response.

Ignore me or not, I "doesn't care". I was just bringing to light, something so profoundly (well) done in this game, yet, it is game breaking and takes away from the Dragon age experience to an extent.

After 100 hours or so, I have trouble loading some texture in Skyhold. Takes a little while to load, sometimes I need to save and reload.

No frame rate drops as such here, but a weird slow time effect sometimes kicks in late game. Usually it's with large mobs and lots of masterwork-procced weapons going off. I assumed this effect was put in deliberately to mask slowdown?

The only major issue I have on PS4 - and I'm not sure if it's console specific - is sound wise. Sometimes you have to stand still for a few seconds to let the sound catch up with the action. Fast travelling to Skyhold triggers this bug time and time again.

I think the slow motion is when you trigger combos.

I've had the sound problem sometimes. Not found anything in common when it happens. Sometimes when a lots going on, sometimes when nothing is. Not noticed it much in SKyhold but get it sometimes in the other maps.

I once experienced an extreme framerate drop in Redcliffe, but a quick reload alleviated the issue. There were other various framerate hiccups throughout my 2 playthroughs, but nothing on the level the OP describes. Overall I'd say it was a pretty solid experience, much more so than any other Bioware game on a Sony console.

Note to the OP: Attacking anyone that responds to your topic in a way that you don't approve of is not the best way to get your question answered.
