Hello. I'm interested in becoming a part of the Industry and I was hoping on recieving some insight of where I should go for schooling and how I should prepare myself for a career in the gaming industry.
I'm 21 years old and I'm currently deployed to Iraq, but I am interested in becoming a game designer or a game animator. I have limited experience with the creation of a game, I have dabbled with various level editors, but thats about the extent of my experience. I have played many games on many different consoles and a few games on PC and I am always wondering how everything works together. I own and have owned many Bioware games. Of all the developers out there, I would love to be a part of the Bioware team.
If I could get any feedback, that would be appreciated.
Thank you.

First of all, you should read and understand the advice columns on Sloperama. that should give you a good head start. There's also GameDev, the International Game Developers Association, and a host of valuable and informative links through Google.
I (and others here) would be happy to answer whatever questions you might have after some reading.
