Hyenas, Deepstalkers and Mabari all appeared. We only got the key bug once and then it dropped when we redid the wave.

I would like to thank bioware for allowing me to complete these two matches with only one game breaking instance. I have truly been blessed today.

Here's the trick: Dont use firestorm on stages where there are dogs around. Voila.

What about the games where there's no one using Firestorm and the key refuses to drop?

I guess those games are your problem. Rarely, if not ever happens to me. On PC that is. Dont know about any other platforms. I almost forgot that bug even existed, but the forum keeps reminding me.

Also, can I say that you have to stop playing AW? 1327 extractions is atleast 1077 too many. If not more. I'm worried about your mental health, Joe Davola. It's more extractions than I have alltogether, and I play A  L O T. I have to question if it's even real.

No!!

Lol, 10 more AW wins and you'll make AW ascent to transcedence and vanish from this plane of existence. Do it!

Sure sure. I've argued about this with you before till my butt got sore. I think the key bug has happened to me like once or twice since I started avoiding elementalists weeks ago. Not because elementalists just by being in a game cause the bug, but because the chances of them causing the bug while using firestorm on dogs are very high. Especially on PC. Trust me on this. I can only relate to the reality I see when I play, and as I've said before - I'm pretty sure most observant people playing on PC will concur to this.

If the key bug happens to you alot and it is caused by something else, it truly is your problem, and/or anyone playing on the platform experiencing the same thing. I however, rarely ever have it happening to me. You should do some research as to why this happens and avoid the causes if possible.

I also commented on a thread talking about how elementalists cause the bug with firestorm, posted by a person that plays on a PC. It is obviously something that he is aware of as well. And my answer to him is correct: If you avoid elementalists in pugs, you avoid firestorm and if you avoid firestorm, you avoid the key bug. On the PC. End of story. Need I say more?

That's what I've been building up to. I'll retire after that.

Should be able to complete it tonight.

Another joke! I'm dying here.... jesus man, stop it!

This is awesome. Glad I could help you develop a sense of humour. Maybe I should quit my day job.

You: I've never experienced the key bug since I started avoiding Eles.

Everyone else: The bug isn't exclusive to Eles & Firestorm only.

You: But I've never experienced the key bug since I started avoiding Eles.

You can also get the key bug if you Panic a dog.

I don't know the exact circumstances but I've seen it happen that way many times on my Reaver, and several times when Elementalists use Fire Wall.

Sometimes you can find the dog's corpse just standing around, looking alive, and if you hit that corpse with Panic/Walking Bomb you can un-bug the key.

Honestly my Ele never causes this on PS4
I never use it in the last room
I don't see why people don't realize that if the second to last enemy is an animal and the "human" is killed afterwards before the animal fades out that this is what causes the key not to drop in most instances. Firestorming the last room when animals are present is a really good way to cause this to happen.
Anyways BW claims the patch to fix this is almost ready so I'm not even going to stress it anymore

Most people have a boner for kills, so they can't refrain from spamming firestorm.

Side note, while we must still say NO to elementalists, we must also say NO to spirit mark. Why on earth a necromancer feels the need to spirit mark the last enemy in a room and key glitch me, I don't understand.

I had a pug yesterday with two elementalists... who apparently knew not to use firestorm (firewall didn't cause any key crashes)... and we didn't have any key crashes.

I really hope this problem is resolved soon. The Elementalist was my favorite early class in the game, but without Firestorm he feels slightly gimped.

It does seem, with or without Firestorm, that the key issues arises more often with an Ele than any other class ..

I currently have my elementalist specced for defense (once I realized they have ice armor like necro), because immolate seems to be all the uberness an elementalist needs. I haven't had a key drop glitch so far, but I don't play elementalist very often since learning of the risk. He was my first unlock though.

Firewall does it to. And spirit mark with necros. Those are the only ones I know for sure.

Of course! Why else would our one solo PUG AW run 2 rooms ahead sending Agro our way while we're dealing with a revenant?

At least theoretically an AW can take care of themselves. Nothing like a badly geared assassin running ahead, dying instantly then spamming "Over here!" while I'm in a treasure room. No thank you, I'd rather the enemies slowly funnel towards me rather than running into whatever cluster**** you got yourself into.
