I was playing with two friends. I was a Keeper, one was a  Templar and one was an Arcanist. We got the key bug. It is not the Elementalist that causes it.

At least theoretically an AW can take care of themselves. Nothing like a badly geared assassin running ahead, dying instantly then spamming "Over here!" while I'm in a treasure room. No thank you, I'd rather the enemies slowly funnel towards me rather than running into whatever cluster**** you got yourself into.

If somebody did that with me my mic would be on to remind everybody else that there is a red skull by their name and to add a couple more. If somebody else joins then we get a refreshed font anyways

They usually quit before I need to have them removed. They get the idea when the enemies are dead and I just walk past their waiting to be revived body.

But I heard that avoiding Elementalists with Firestorm is a guarantee it won't happen on PC (I'm assuming you're on PC). Hmmmmm...I may have been lied to.

What's an arcanist?

Also, the fact the the glitch can be caused in multiple ways does not mean it isn't the elementalist. Because it is almost always the elementalist. Just say NO

No it's firestorm in the last room that causes it yet it is a higher probability but not guaranteed. Also sometimes animals spawn at the exact point that the last enemy is going into the fade which somehow causes the key not to drop. The spirit Mark as well. And sometimes the animals will enter the hollow points of the wall and the red dot will disappear as they are technically not on the map anymore. Sometimes the Giants will stand up from death and they are impossible to kill. Sometimes the deepstalkers get stuck halfway in the ground and halfway into the fade and remain invincible. The deepstalker glitch and the giant glitch I am unsure of how to reproduce as it is extremely intermittent.

The host connection has nothing to do with it either, however a poor connection of anybody's latency within the party will cause severe rubberbanding

I was told that the no key bug was caused by Elementalists using Firestorm on Zone 5.

I chuckled.

Think about it.

The no key bug is not caused solely by Elementalists.  Since the DLC was released, I have played 426 matches and had the no key bug 56 times.  On PC.
