I know the enhanced barrier ring doesn't stack with knight protector. But I just got my second one and was wondering if two rings stack with each other. Had this been tested yet?

As far as I knew it didn't work at all....
Have you tested with just 1 ring?

It does work... Tested it with my elementalist and a keeper with knight protector. Both durations were the same. So with that said.. It is great for elementalists of for keepers that want to put a point into something else other than knight protector. But it does not stack with knight protector, reason I think two rings will not stack either. I will test it later tonight when I'm back home.

It worked on my elemenalist... Grouped with a keeper with knight protecter (which adds 30% duration) there was no difference

Try using Barrier in a Private lobby with and without the ring and come back and tell me it still works for you. Cause for everyone else, the ring doesn't extend the duration.

I thought it did at first, but I wasn't considering the 3 second grace period before decay starts when I timed. So I used a pretty useless ring my whole first prestige with the Keeper.

It was a private lobby... I only play with certain friends. The enhanced barrier ring works... It just doesn't stack with knight protector.

No, I'm meaning just load a solo private game and use Barrier with the ring and time it. Quit, load up another solo without the ring and time it. Simple self test for the ring. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes for a definite proof for your own eyes to see.

Tested... And the ring is not working properly. It doesn't increase the duration at all. Very sad since I have two now. Would be nice if they worked as intended

Yeah, I'd totally run the Barrier ring... again... if it worked.

I'll just keep a Static Cage or Energy Barrage ring in the meantime. Chain Lightning would be a welcome addition, but the Maker hates me.

So you might almost say that nothing really works as intended? Toilet game!

My Enhanced Disruption Field ring actually shortens the duration by 30%, so I'd have to wonder if the barrier one actually extends it at all.

Does the barrier ring have any effect on barrier's cd?

Does the barrier ring have any effect on barrier's cd?

Far as I can tell, none.

I just tested it with my keeper.

I timed the cooldown duration from clicking the button to cast until the "flash" of the icon indicating the cooldown has finished, from 10 tests I averaged 13.98 seconds with the ring on, 13.94 with the ring off.

Allowing for the fact that I most likely pre-empted the finish a number of times by watching the cooldown "fill up", I'd say it's safe to say that the cooldown with or without the ring was 14 seconds.

This is particularly interesting to me, since the only Barrier cooldown reduction in my Keepers current build is Elegant Defense, which should only reduce the cooldown by 4 seconds, so the cooldown should be 20 seconds... I've got an extra 6 seconds or 30% cooldown reduction from somewhere?

Duration of the barrier ring on or off was approximately 12.5 seconds (didn't record exact results, but 12.5 seconds was the most common) and the power itself lists my barrier strength at 4806 whether the ring is on or off.
