MOAR DRAGONS!
Btw dragons in Skyrim? What are those? Little shits lizards things? At least in DA you need to prepare before fighting a dragon. Dragons are just a random thing in Skyrim, you hit them a few times and they're dead.
And what I want to see is...Varterrals in DLC for DA:I. There was none in DA: I. Like wtf...Have they forgotten about them? o.O

Baring a few slight variences with some dragons the fights in this are all basically exactly the same, can't help but feel it was a cheap way to add an elite boss to each area, because they are all basically the same copy and paste job. Too many dragons I feel always kills their mystique, you reach the point where you're like another dragon, great, can't wait for it to do that flappy thing with its wings *yawn*
I think three dragons maximum would have been good, make each fight special and unique, there is far too little varience and it just devalues the whole dragons are special retoric that bioware have tried to sell, they're not really that special are they, they're all over the damn place, there are three within a tiny distance in that lion place. Why the hell are all these dragons waking up at the same time anyway?
One of the problems is none of the High Dragons feel like a natural part of the story, they feel tacked on, the high dragon in Origins felt natural, like it belonged in that game and that location. Though Origins also fell into the dragons for dragons sake trap at times as well, not a high dragon but the throne room dragon was like WTF.
It would be nice to have a bit of varience with elite bosses, how about some vampire lord (don't call it a vampire if you want to ****** and moan about vampires not being part of the lore), there are beaches so a sea monstor, a witches covern, a giant demented nug, whatever, just more of a variation in different bad guys would be nice.
Well it is called Dragon Age for a reason, there are a lot of dragons around. If there were only 3 dragons I doubt it would justify calling an entire age Dragon Age, JMO. And I agree that the throne room dragon in Origins was more of a dragonling than a dragon.

It's not actually called Dragon Age because of a surfeit of dragons, they saw two and decided to call it the Dragon Age instead of the Sun Age.

I can't remember the last game I played with dragons that you'd actually fear going up against. Game developers have made them weaker in recent years.

Yeah. It was a sign that this age will be full of upheaval and change which is true.

I don't mind the Dragon's or number off at all, what I mind about is the fact that to comfortably take them on you need good gear and the best gear in the game (not crafted) seem to come from them, yet the gear you get is at the level of the Dragon... it's weird.
Some of that gear should be available in other places.

I must disagree. You can craft way better gear than that from dragons. You just have to do that the right way.

As to my point of best gear not crafted. What's the point in killing dragons if you can just make better armour before even killing them? You buff your character with armour and weapons only for the Dragon to give you stuff now worse than what you've just made. Heck, if you take on a level 14 dragon at level 16, most of what you get is level 14 unique, so a little pointless.
Each Dragon should have at least unique 1 armour or weapon that is can't be use until level 20, making it worth while to hunt them when at lower levels ready for higher level fights.

*facepalm* BSN can be a bit too testing at times.
1- People kept complaining in the past about the lack of dragons in previous games even though the game is called "Dragon Age".
2- Each Dragon while has somewhat similar skill mechanics, still have minor- notable variations, whether its dragonling summoning or guard generation or elements, etc..
3- This game's scale is significantly larger than both Origins and 2. It takes place across TWO nations, going to areas where dragons would naturally inhabit (hence people haven't exactly established any kind of civilizations in such areas).

I liked the dragons. IT was definitely a challenged fighting the one on the Storm Coast! I do think they could've given each dragon their own special skill/personality of some sort. they all do the exact same thing which is boring, but it was still fun to kill them nevertheless. #i'll get you dragons!#

You obviously never played Skyrim. I had to install a mod that takes them out of the game or i would have gotten some dragon ptsd.

They saw 2 more dragons than zero, and took it as a sign that the age was going to be filled with civil war, and decided to called it the Dragon Age, it's not like it means OMG hundreds of dragons.

Yep, the dragons are great but, they all do the same thing, just different resits is all. Wings flapping means you get pulled to the dragon, head going up, it's gonna blast in one direction. In flight, it's going to blast opposite where it is. Makes all after the first one easy, just time consuming at lower levels. The ones that spawn dragonlings are a bit tougher for that at lower levels but, those that don't are pretty easy once you know how to avoid the attacks.
