Simple problem. For my project I've decided to combine all of the elven subraces. Already merged the heads and got everything working but there's one last snag. Despite the fact that I only have one subrace (using the moon elf row) and that this subrace is the default in the racialtypes.2da, when I go to character creation it won't skip the subrace selection.
Does anyone know if this is hard coded or if I need to do something else to make it skip?
Not hardcoded. Take a look at how human is set up. Not sure how it is done, but there must be a flag or something that tells it to not display the sub-race screen.
Also make sure in racialtypes.2da the default sub-race is the single elf race you have.
Perhaps you just need to trim the entries from the racialsubtypes.2da so that there is only one row with that BaseRace?
Looks like it was just trimming racialsubtypes, I'd already set it up with the right defaults. Thanks for the help.
