Funny, I rarely use Blackwall, Dorian or Bull in my party.

Images in my head of dwarf female on male giant...

The word "impale" comes to mind.

Doesn't dwarf inquisitor romancing Ironbull kinda fill that image already? :P

LOL. Yes!!

I was curious to how that actually works... watching Sera bend over to kiss one of my dwarves was bad enough.

Bioware seems to have gotten a knack for creating damn good characters everytime they create a female dwarf. Dagna, Sigrun, and now Lace. I don't think there are many out there that don't like that trio.

One of the good things with Lace was that she had normal background. Not a single compulsion issue to do or commit to like most of the companions/advisors. Nothing like "I have a holy mission and I will fulfill it because reasons!". Just your average chick hanging with the boss, which was good.

I wouldn't call that fairness if Harding is added into the romance pool.

Lets get down to fairness:
Male Love Interests:

Dorian

Iron Bull
Blackwall

Cullen

Solas

Total: 5

Female Love Interests:

Cassandra

Josephine

Sera

Total: 3

Harding would make this total 5 to 4,  but would also be a bisexual option.

In all sense of the term this is still an unfair situation for us heterosexual males but you don't seem to actually care about fairness.

I'd even put Paragon Branka on this list.  If not simply for just being an interesting character.  The entire "silent sisters" plot interests me as well.  They are just not well liked for some strange reason.

Do you even have the option to flirt with Varric? If not then, I don't see them adding him in, especially because Harding already has flirt potential and a promise for resolution (a drink) later.

I think that the more straight options in the game, the better. Personally I find her disgusting, like a big wheel of cheese with little ginger larvae biting into her face with a potatoe separating two teams of worms racing for the brain. Well, she looks better than Vivienne. Sure, while I would never dare to romance this midget thing that can grow beard, I think that it should be served to all those who want it. Just after straight female elf companion of course.

DLC? Nah, they need to focus on bigger things. Defintiely would be cool to have IN a DLC. My dwarf is lonely, and he flirts constantly.

Alas, no. Even Hawke could flirt with Varric! But the Inquisitor can't.

(Which is downright weird, when you think about it. How does my Inquisitor magically know that Varric is spoken for? For that matter, how do they know that Solas only likes female elves and Blackwall is straight? I can understand it with Leliana, since she's obviously not in the right frame of mind and might skin you if you said anything, but it's strange that you can't hit on Varric and the heart options for Solas and Blackwall only appear if they might reciprocate.)

LOL so vivid.  While we already agree to each their own, the straight female elf mage companion slot was filled by Merrill.  Not to say they couldn't of course add another female elf, however to avoid redundancies in the series she would have to be a warrior because Zevran already filled the dashing elven rogue.  AND Sera is already a rogue.

Now do we as fans care too much about redundancies? ...Unfair question because we do and don't on many issues...  But yeah she'd really need to be a sort of detached hardass elf. Sort of like the NPC for the Reaver specialization quest.  Except pretty.
