As I promised an old man one day I've started to watch this show and while I'm only 1,5 episodes in it's obviously going to be a great watch soly from the era it deal with and the people within that era.
From pleb-tier watcher.

Don't know of this old man you speak of (but he sounds like an awesome fellow nonetheless) it is good to see you decided to continue. You are indeed in for a ride.

Sounds great! What little that I've seen from him so far it's been interesting. Characters that can put on the air of a hero in less fortunate situations have a good track record with me

He is the most quotable person ever as well.
Oh and speaking of Kingdoms.
Kingdom has updated.
Episode 2's ending. Oh dear!
Watching episode 5 now and really liking how the show deal with honor, respect and the social skills required to actually be a figure of importance. That and all the intrigues, loooooove!
Most likely. Even the ridiculous duels are amusing soly from how ridiculous they are. It's a quirk I can like due to the contrast it offer from the serious dialogue.
I will probably start watching this show and i noticed Cao Cao recives a lot of love but.
Yellow Turbans are my favorite.
The show got some solid child characters with the young master Sun Quan showcasing some remarkable wit and understanding

The duels improve in the show gradually. The actors aren't Jet Li (rookies!), so they can't learn all the awesome moves. So the director is trying his best with actors and camera to perform pseudo-fighting to look real. They definitely reached to a level of believable-ness in the series at some point.

and he is one of the best in the whole series.

Yes, watch Three Kingdoms. We were so many that recommended FMAB, now if we can suddenly become as many to recommend this show..
Seeing more and more people experiencing the awesomeness that is Three Kingdoms...
It makes me so happy.

I'll save watching it for when I move in with my history buff of a flat mate next month. It definitely looks like something we'd both enjoy.
It's almost always more fun to watch something together with someone else. If only for the discussions that will happen!
Yeah, it'll certainly be a joy to watch it with someone.
Provided he isn't too knowledgable about certain events and accidentally spoils it for you during critical events. ![]()
