Dear Bioware,

I usually don’t post something on any forums. This time I make an exception because I’m a big fan of Dragon Age Origins and see the potential of DAI not just to be a very good game. It can be a fantastic game if some minor tweaks were done. And two of those adjustments would mean a lot to me (I hope not just to me).

I am talking about the immersion in tactical mode. I think the tac mode can be made much more rewarding.

Please give us an option to hide this big info sheets which are showing the enemy’s health and who is attacking it. It blocks the sight on the action, especially when zoomed in. I want to feel the battle raging around me in tactical mode too. I want to see the close up shield bash from Cassandra in the face of this red Templar!

But I’m not only talking about this sight blocking info sheets. I really really wish there would be a way to hide those big flashing circles around my party members and this “walking lines” that show to which direction a character was send. This really kills the feeling of a battle. I want to enjoy this tactical mode just like I did in Dragon Age Origins.

The limited zoom level of the tactical view is no fun either. Sometimes I need the oversight of the battlefield but I can’t zoom out enough to see everything what’s going on around me. In these cases the tactical mode can’t be used “tactical”.

And please don’t tell me: ”Hey, if you don’t like the current tactical view, just don’t use it”. I don’t want to play Dragon Age like an Action RPG like the Witcher. And without an auto attack I’m not enjoying my Warrior without the tactical mode.

So please give us the option for tactical mode to:

- hide the enemy health info sheet, the big flashing circles around the characters and the “walking lines” to greatly raise the immersion

- zoom more out for a better oversight of the battlefield

Thanks in advance for reading (sorry English isn’t my native language. I hope everything can be understood).

No, thank you. Only thing tac cam needs is more zoom, controls tweak for PC and disabling roofings like it was in DA:O.
