All Dragons are female ?

Only the big ones with wings are exclusively female. Babies are either gender, and drakes are male.

Yep, I read that part.  Though when dealing with fantasy I tend to look at Drakes and Wyverns as diffrent genders or off shoots of the same species. Tends to make things less confusing when jumping into new fantasy lore.

Come to think of it, I wonder if Giant Spiders are all female too. In the real world, female spiders are usually several times larger than males.

Wyverns aren't dragons... wyverns usually only have two legs whereas dragons (western dragons) have four legs. Of course in fantasy books and TV and film this distinction often gets lost or ignored...

hence the reason why I typically look at them as a off shoot of the same species. Much like a lizard and a snake.

its a lot easier for species to lose limbs than gain them >.>
