Well 40 years ago we had the Orlaisian occupation. Its not like there have been any massive technological advantages since then to indicate the thedas leaving the medieval era.

There is Sebastian invading Kirkwall and Orzammar retaking old taigs, but I'm not sure if those count. We have 2 civil wars that are fought between a monarch and lower ranking feudal lords.

A few invasions every 40 decades does not mean it's common. It would be like saying because Russian invades Georgia that invasion are the norm today.

And the time period for da is need end of gothic. Thedus is way too advance to be midevil.

Nevarra who fought and took territory from Orlais, then fought a bloody campaign of expansion towards the east that only ended with their defeat at Tantervale.
The only reason the others aren't involved in expansionism is because they are to weak.
The Anderfels never recovered from the 4th blight, Rivain and Ferelden are backwaters. Antiva has no standing army and already completely dominates martime trade, The Free Marches are divided and constantly infighting.

But you have 4 examples of Expansionist nations. The Qunari, Tevinter, Nevarra and Orlais. Thats not enough for you?

And Expansionism wasn't dead in the high medieval period either. Heck its not even dead today in some parts of the world, and it wasn't really dead in Europe until fairly recently.

The battle to the modern date of thedus happen close to 70 years ago. Navara and orlias fought 8:70. It's now 9:41.

With how local politics have become a cesspool I doubt many would care if I declared it a independent kingdom if I fixed roads and poured money into the school system.

That said o.o forum comments on a video game aren't much of a scandal.

Comments like "I support killing people after curfew since anyone out after a curfew is a criminal that deserves to die" and your comments about muslims would surely be evidence if given to the right people. It'll be a blast to see what happens. If it makes one person not vote for you, I consider my work a success. Someone like you being in power is not something the world deserves.
