I would gladly pay for dlc that allowed us to mod our characters after the game had started and that included some long hair styles (especially without the greased-head look). Double if we could mod our companions as well! Any chance we can get that in a near-future mod?
Character appearance mods? Please?!?

Well you're in luck:

Nothing about editing companions, seeing as it's never been done before I doubt it'll happen. And personally I'm fine with that.

I have seen Dorian without moustache but I really hope there is no sexy/pretty Cassandra or Josephine mods.

:)Wow, that is great news. One of the things I like about BioWare is that they value the input of their fans. And who knows. Maybe it will extend to other characters as well! Thanks for the info!

I would welcome it, Panda. Or at the very least, some hair for the baldies. It's a personal thing for me, but my son Kris was diagnosed with leukemia at 5 years old. It is an uncomfortable reminder to me, and to my wife especially, who is often beside me when I play.

Well DAI is very hard to mod, I think modders are the one's people should be thankful for ^^

*blink, blink* Where? I was contemplating starting a Lavellan for him and looked high and low for a mustache-less Dorian on Nexus but couldn't find it (Though personally for me I'd rather full on scruff as opposed to clean shaven).

No, consoles aren't really modable. Mods are PC only.

Oh yeah I saw that on Tumblr, too... they messed about with Blackwall's beard as well. Yeah I know you're a console-player ![]()

I've seen only Cassandra with no scars and Josephine without her massive shine in her outfit.

I'd be cool with giving Solas that mohawk-ponytail thing he had in the concept art tbh.
That would indeed be awesome, but it would be hard not to use that ponytail for myself ![]()

Just wait until someone does something stupid like a white Josephine mod.

I tweeted someone at Bioware, (I really can't remember who. I might have been drunk.) that I would pay good money for decent hair.

I'd love it if people were able to easily mod the looks of the companions/ NPCs like you could with Origins and the toolset on PC. While I think Inquisition Morrigan looks ok, I'd kind of prefer it if she looked a bit more how she was in Origins. Same with Alistair, Anora, Loghain and Leliana for that matter.

Actually, I would've like to see them with less makeup. That would be nice.
Btw, there's actually a mod that adds scars for Cass. ![]()
And speaking of scars, it's odd they're not getting paler as the game progresses. It's a shame really, I don't think it's so difficult to do.
Also, scars on companions look more detailed and cool. Not fair, dammit.

Nothing. Just average racism.

So changing colour of character skin is racist but turning Alistair gay is just a preference. Sigh... you know what never mind, I'm out.

There was a mod to remove Cass scars but the creator took it down beacuse of the rage.

I never understand that mindset.
Like, I always thought many of the mods that changed Origins companion's faces were often silly. But you know what? Its a single player game, so if you want to mess with how a certain companion looks then by all means go for it! If you want to get rid of Cassandra's scars or Dorian's mustache, make Isabela white or give Solas a full head of hair, then why not? Its not ruining anyone else's game.

Pretty much. There are some deep double standards with mods like that.
Turning a white character into a PoC? It's fine.
Turning a PoC chatacter white? That's racist.
Turning a straight person bi/gay? It's fine.
Turning a gay person bi/straight? That's offensive.
