As a PC player I have to say that I was expecting a lot more. The walk button and the camera fix are welcome, but..but..only this after all this time? Arent PC fixes a priority? Still no changes to the UI and no improvements to the tactical combat?

From a development standpoint, Patch 3 was a small, bug-fix only patch to address some high-frequency issues affecting the majority of our players.

General

Added key binding that allows players to walk.

Added mouse cursor scaling.

Fixed issue that could result in the mouse getting stuck in mouse-look mode when players alt-tabbed out of the game in full-screen mode.

Fixed display bars to correctly reflect items that alter maximum health.

Single-Player

Changed party banter system to be less random to prevent extra-long periods where no conversations would occur.

Fixed issue that could result in one of Dorian’s conversations not being available for some players.

Fixed issue that could result in a cutscene not firing for Dorian’s plot when players enter the Gull and Lantern.

Fixed issue that could result in Sera’s Verchiel plot being broken.

Fixed issue with the demon that could spawn during Solas’s personal quest.

Changed Tactical Camera so that it no longer re-centers when the player changes party members.

Fixed exploit that allowed for infinite influence.

Fixed issue that allowed players to exploit their gold value in single-player mode.

Fixed allied mage AI so they did not dispel targets that the player had frozen.

Fixed issue that caused the bar displaying armor rating to not update correctly for crafted gear.

Fixed issue that caused extra potions granted by items to be lost when players return to Skyhold.

Fixed issue that caused Mind Blast’s upgrade, Fortifying Blast, to not provide additional barrier.

Fixed issue that could result in the opt-in conversation UI continuing to be displayed if players opted out very quickly as the UI was starting to be displayed.

Fixed issue that could result in the world map being permanently displayed in the Storm Coast.

Fixed issue that could result in being unable to switch party members after looting.

Fixed issue that could result in party members not following orders to revive a party member in Tactical Camera mode.

Fixed issue that could result in people being unable to discover all the regions in the Exalted Plains.

Fixed issue that could cause dragons to become unresponsive.

Fixed issue that would cause dragons to freeze during their roar.

Fixed issue that could cause some conversations to be “hitchy.”

Fixed issue that could cause Varric’s legs to do odd things in some opt-in conversations.

Fixed Masterwork Prowler Armor so it no longer distorts on certain characters.

Fixed issue that could cause Harmon to disappear in certain circumstances.

Fixed a few non-herb crafting materials that were showing up in the Herbs section of the inventory. They are now correctly in the Other section.

Multiplayer

Enabled push-to-talk functionality in the multiplayer end of match screen.

Enabled push-to-talk in the multiplayer armor upgrade menu.

Fixed issue where changing multiplayer match settings would take effect without confirming changes.

Fixed issue that could result in players entering multiplayer matches without any mapped abilities in certain circumstances.

Fixed case that could cause keys to not drop in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that would cause the potion mapped to the first slot to also be used when pushing the 9 key in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that would cause the camera to spin at the end of a multiplayer match and not display the end of match screen.

Fixed issue in multiplayer mode that would result in the healing portion of Rampage to stop working in certain circumstances.

Tuned Strength of Spirits to be more useful in multiplayer mode.

Tweaked the balance of the Demon Commander in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that could result in items not displaying their cards when chests are opened in multiplayer mode.

Fixed issue that could cause pots to respawn in certain circumstances in multiplayer mode.

So Solas artifact quest is still bugged?It seems the patch note is about  his  quest in the Exalted Plains.

Also nothing about the mosaic pieces in the Hinterland?

Don't see anything that looks to fix the collection/mining crap-out that completely screws the ability to finish the majority of requisition quests and Specializations for the Inquisitor.

 

Since that is a rather large damn bug, this game will still be bloody broken after this Patch.

 

Yet Another Quality Bioware Product™.

I have to ask. With the change to the Tac Cam not jumping to characters, how are we supposed to move it up ladders now?

 

I'm guessing you can still it do it the old way and walk it up ladders, or click through enemies.

 

Is this all the fixes or just high lights because I was hoping for the broken 2 handed skills to be fixed, like the broken detonators.

Nothing about abilities that are supposed to work as detonators but don't (or do but deal 1 damage on detonation)? Or abilities that are supposed to be free under certain conditions but cost 50 additional energy instead?

I really hope the party banter will be fixed this time. In certain areas my teammates won't ever shut up and in other they give me the silent treatment.

The music is still pretty broken as well. And it's weird because it was fine for me before the patch and now I only get an odd musical note here and there, then crickets.

You may still be able to do it by double-clicking the portraits (I have to do that sometimes currently on the few occasions where the camera doesn't auto-center on a simple single-click). Of course that's just a guess on my part but I don't see why they would take that functionality out.

Its not broken there is no ambient exploration music recorded. It keeps looping some of plot related music here and there but do not expect ambient music as it does not exist.

When one of my characters currently gains a level, DAI turns into a game of "avoiding". I avoid new active abilities because I long ran out of slots. Only passives for me now.

 

At the start I thought that you'd run out of slots only under very bad conditions like making a make with focus on more than one school of magic. I was wrong. Every kind of character will run out of slots. And not even by one or two slots. The whole thing is to broken they had to notice it during betatest. You notice it at around character level ~15, that's half of the limit. Most testers probably reached that character level and it isn't even necessary to finish the game, you get there much earlier.

 

But there is actually a natural factor in the game that limits the use of active abilities anyway. So Bioware could argue that with just the given amount of maximum stamina, who would ever use more than like maybe 3, 4 or 5 active abilities, right? Yeah but that argument only works because they simply cut the ability to evolve your stats manually. Were you able to, you'd probably be able to raise your maximum stamina considerably. All in all, this whole system is not thought through at best, broken at worst.

 

I cannot but shake my head in disbelief of such an obvious problem with the game. It's beyond stupid.

How can I opt out of this patch? I like getting a lot of influence with Farris. I cannot think of anything more boring than grinding for perks.

where are the fixes for two hander?

where are the fixes for alot of detonations?

where are the fixes for for the knight enchanter self instant kill and bugged combat clarity?

where are the fixes for necromancer?

where are the fixes for weakness not being proc'd for rift mage skills?

where are the fixes for max guard total and the armor rating for the front not the back?

where are the fixes for reaver's skills using more health than they should?

where are the fixes for for some shatter procs bypassing the shattered enemy or only doing 1 damage?

where are the fixes for Templars and the problems of blessed blades and stunned enemies not getting detonated by spell purge? 

where are the fixes for that various broken rogue skills? evade upgrade? throwing knife targeting? Leaping shot and flank attack leaving you to fly across the map?

where are the fixes for the busted storm and winter trees? 

 

all this time and this all you have done?

no my final questions?

 

where are the fixes for all the thing this rushed out patch is going to break? 

 

Absolutely abhorrent.
