I was really hoping BW would fix the annoying bug with potion/tonic/grenade belts.  They only work until you do a transition like setting up camp or fast traveling(even within a zone), which causes the extra potion to vanish.  Those belts go right to vendor trash now.  Apparently, a lot of the "enhanced" ability rings and belts are bugged as well but I haven't tested those to be sure.

Ahem "Fixed issue that caused extra potions granted by items to be lost when players return to Skyhold." I assume is going to fix all those too.

I missed that one.  Good news.  I hope that covers all situations and not just going back to Skyhold/Haven.

I'm ok with some of these fixes although I kinda wish that bug fixes were the main attraction instead of exploits, this is a single player game with multi that is separate. It's not really a priority to fix exploits when other issues are more visible. Exploits are optional, you don't have to do them and it usually ruins your game if you do.

So Solas artifact quest is still bugged? It seems the patch note is about  his  quest in the Exalted Plains.

Also nothing about the mosaic pieces in the Hinterland?

ERF.

Yeah, looks like I'm going to keep waiting on my next pt since I don't want to do another one until what lies beneath is fixed.

Didn't they say this would be a big patch? That's it?

My game is completely broken. I have a good PC that the game detects for high settings. But I can't run it at anything except minimum settings. I get the CTD to desktop with no error if I run it in anything but the lowest settings. You've got tier 2 technical support guys at EA admitting the game can't be fixed on our end, it has to be fixed on Bioware's end.

Been waiting two months for a patch to fix the technical problems at the core of the game, and what do I find? A patch with a bunch of small fixes. You have a 52-page thread in the EA technical support forums full of people who can barely play the game, if they can at all, and no fixes at all in the third month of this game's release? That is terrible.

Can you put these minor fixes on the back burner until you fix the game for those of us unable to play?

I've solved all crashing by setting post process quality down to medium. I really don't know how people aren't able to play the game unless their computer is underpowered.

"Changed Tactical Camera so that it no longer re-centers when the player changes party members."

This alone will do wonders for my sanity.

Thanks for the fixes, Biodevs.

Remember that Bio isn't made up of people with exactly equal skills. The guys working on the quest bugs probably don't have the skills to handle your problem.

So...does this mean no fixing "chest farming" glitch?

I hope they never fix that. I need it to get through nightmare playthrough.

I'm gonna pass this patch. I don't see any fixes that interest me, and not very fond of those influence/gold fixes.

I thought the issue with Solas was his quest not triggering after you activate a certain amount of artifacts?

Yay for more banter!

I'm playing on a laptop, a gaming one, lenovo y500 with 2x650M 2gb, 6gb ram, but still it's a laptop.

I can smoothly run high tex\meshes with a mix of high-medium settings. 40+ FPS, 150+ hours and all the crashes I had happened in MP. So, yeah - it's your end.    There are some confirmed tech issues (like 'white fog bug'  and flickering on SLI  configs - those I'd happily see gone), but 'it does not work!111' is a poor description for a something to be fixed.

The problem isn't that you could buy them; the problem is that you could sell them back before leaving the store, keeping all your money while also getting the influence and power (and since the items stay in the store that way, you can just keep doing it to get maximum influence without spending a single coin).

The same exploit is possible for other "plot" items (items that set some variable or flag, like Skyhold upgrades or codex entries). Hopefully they'll fix those too, although I imagine they're lower priority (you can't really abuse buying windows for Skyhold more than once).

Not realy HVT's though, seriously its a Single Player game nobody cares, fix **** that needs fixing, you know like KB/M issues, Tac issues, Party control commands.,

And thee real issue fix the bloody DX errors

Patch 2 had mostly PC fixes (idk if they worked) but only 1 or 2 unique fix for PS3 and XBOX360. Why should PC even be priority? It's not like you guys have it worst.

Also Bioware employees has been most of time after patch 2 having their winter holidays so there hasn't been that much time to make patch 3. Hopefully this time the fixes at least work properly.

No fix to spirit blade.... Sigh.... Every time I load a save in a zone, the model of the sword disappears. Exiting the game does nothing to fix it and the only work around is to travel to another zone and then back again.

I also hoped there would be some fixes to the sound in this game, as footsteps in cut scenes are very odd in my game, and I have not found any way to solve it.

Wish they never added MP, so they could only focus on fixing SP stuff. I was expecting a lot more fixes than this from this patch.

Most of them didn't, for some people, it actually got worse.  They had to do a hotfix.  Check out the Pc community concerns thread if you're interested.

I know old gen is a broken, unoptimized, shameful version of the game that should never even have been released in this sorry state, but PC is not far behind, Panda.

And it's not a question of 'bigger piece of the pie': PC vs Old Gen vs New Gen. Consoles need to undergo certification process from Microsoft (the worst one and most expensive) and Sony. DAI was developed and marketed for the PS4 and XBone first.  That's why there is a lot less (not none, don't hate please) bugs on them.

Well, at least we got communication.  But that's about it imho.

I was hoping for a 30 FPS cutscene fix.

That is never going to happen. The syncing for the cutscenes would have to be completely redone.

let's hope they snuck in some undocumented fixes!

You're better off betting on undocumented bugs...

Yep I knew that they didn't work well so I think Bioware tried too many fixes within too little time for PC.

I know that PC players have problems as well. But I don't think PC should be priority (although to devs it seems to be when looking at how many things they are trying to fix on PC regardless how well the fixes work and how they have their own PC community threads unlike old gen although I have been asking..). They should look fix the major problems on all platforms that need those fixes.

Because of certification process the PC gets fixes first, I understand that as well. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for console patches.

Honestly, even though I'm no tech guy - like at all- I was told on the PC thread that they do fixes for all versions at the same time, and then have to work technically -adapting for each platform- to make them work on consoles, to put it simply.

And then there is the compulsory certification process: negotiating with MS and Sony people which is time consuming, expensive...etc

This thread is interesting cuz you can literally see the binaries forming. One group is over the top with the negativity and then the over the top ass kissers arrive right on time.

Anyway, YAY BANTER FIX!
