What is this new destruction route?
Is that just a new chest room?
Basically the elven ruins but this time its on fire!

Despair demons and Shadows in zone 5 would make things so much harder. The former would be almost impossible without coordination i think. So much butthurt about DC - if you want to have more challenge, add the Fear Demons to wave 5.
Good, they should also fix the infinite loading (black screen) bug, happens quite often these days.
You mean Despair demons, right?
Yes? The icy guy with the black robe.
I do not see any mention of the mosaic problems for single player..
No giant fluffy nug as zone 5 boss? I am disappointed ![]()
I'd be down if they made hardcore mode where each wipe you lose one promotional ability attribute related to the char used. So if you get wiped 3 times as rogue u lose 3 cunning points permanently.
I just wouldnt play it then. The reward would have to be huge atleast if I should even consider it.
I want an unforgiving mode like Diablo 3 hardcore = wipe and u lose everything on the char (lose all weapons in use). I'm sorry but Dc is joke compared to some boss in Diablo on hardcore
Also sounds completely unreasonable. I have never been interested in hardcore mode. Of course, its exciting - but just downright horrible if you die thanks to some disconnect, glitch, lag - whatever. Not really worth it.
If you want a game that has a perfect balance regarding this - punishment, difficulty and reward - play Dark Souls or even Demon Souls.
Some of the best RPG, single player (with embedded multiplayer) ever created.

Anxiously awaiting this patch to see if they are actually able to fix, and reduce the amount of bugs - and not create any new ones. Even more anxiously awaiting the first DLC, which I think will decide if there is any worth extending my game time even further.

I wouldnt mind them adding this. I can already hear the complaints from all the new players though. Especially regarding the shadow. They really need to do something about stage 5 I think. What, I dont know. But a start is to add every faction enemy available.

TL;DR
Rampage fixed,
Keyboss fixed,
DC nerfed,
pots fixed,
no abilities bug fixed,
buffed strength of spirits
fortifying Blast (mind blast upgrade) now works
Edit: New destruction route for elven ruins
cool. key fix is obviously great.
strength of spirits and rampage are good too. though it was amusing watching scrubs who jumped on AW hoping for easy-mode, getting wrecked by using it.
not sure about DC nerf, having forced myself to get better to counter it. generally okay with it as it was unforgiving to less experienced players since DC felt like an weird difficulty spike over all the other demons (who are easy mode), templar and venatori has a smoother difficulty increase I felt. I found once you could handle DC, demons were the easiest and templars the hardest (worst ranged spam). When I did various solo runs, I always preferred demons since you could win fine by just having a solid plan for DC, attack mashing with no real tactics vs everything else. venatori & templar you have to at least consider various threats in the mobs.
I would've preferred mob demons (excluding the ghosts) actually buffed a bit to make the difficulty a smoother ramp and only DC's dive attack nerfed just enough to avoid bs one-shot deaths if you make a mistake or are rubberbanding.
hope it's just the dive attack that's been nerfed to just not one shot, as DC was pretty easy if you can keep it in melee for a while.
surprised no buff for venatori commander though.

The first DLC, called Destruction, is out since december and it doesnt add much, frankly. Its just three new routes (one for each map) and some natural enemies (dogs, raptors and giants)
Region locking is a pretty logical and standard approach when you make a multiplayer game with no dedicated servers and no server browser. It's the only way to minimise complaints/bad reviews relating to poor network performance.
Who though making multiplayer games with no server browser and no dedicated servers was a good idea... now that I'll never know
Region-lock may be beneficial for those playing from NA and EU to minimize lag. For people playing from elsewhere, the Region-lock is the ultimate boss in this game.
I play from the Third World and I can never ever find a public game. The matchmaking is not even Region-biased, it is a complete lock.
My connection to NA & SA hosts in ME3 was pretty good. I did have issues with Aussie, Kiwi & Asian hosts though. At least I had the option of dropping out of those games once I realised how bad the lag was.

I meant the second DLC of course. My bad ![]()
If you are a reaver or Katari attempting to tank the demon commander then you are doing it wrong.
Going to have to attack it sometime.

I find cowering in a corner is effective

Venatori should have spellbinders wave 5 too.
Venatori should have far more mages throughout the entire run.
more bears and giants in wave 5
Anyways is there an ETA on the release date for the patch?
And that Dec. 9 patch had minimal DAMP fixes, not to mention the Destruction DLC broke even more things a week later. Again, I understand that holidays are important but saying that they cover over 1/3 of the year is a bit extreme. At most that stretch includes 2-3 weeks of holiday time-off. That includes Thanksgiving for them even though the game was delayed by a month during this period. So really we are still talking about 2 week of holiday time in a 2 month period. While that 2 week period occurred directly after the Destruction DLC, having to wait another 2 weeks for stuff that should have been included in Patch 2 only demonstrates how Bioware is trying to save money by bundling patches instead of properly supporting DAMP. Again, no one forced them to promise improved support for DAMP but they did it anyway. Now they have to live up to the expectations that they set for themselves. The fact that they have not done so yet is why this community is upset. The lack of appropriate communication does not help either.Actually, in Canada the holidays run from October to February when it comes to work, as Thankgiving in Canada is in October. Also, I believe it's part of employer law that employees are given January off work or something like that.
With that said, let's get a proper timeline here:
18 November: Game is released along with Patch 1.
9 December: Patch 2 released.
16 December: Destruction DLC released.
(estimated) 20-31 January: Patch 3 released.
Now, to me that looks like they have updating on a frequent basis, considering the holiday. I am confused by your complain here.
Venatori should have far more mages throughout the entire run.
I dont know what you are talking about, but i see a spellbinder or mage in almost every pull in waves 2-4 on threatening.

Should be more. It feels like mages are the only unit Venatori have that isnt completely overshadowed by their Red Templar counterpart. With more mages they would feel like their own faction, and not just EZ mode Red Templars.
