The key dropping bug is fixed however it requires people to patch their game which is not forced until a restart. IT means that people playing or that has the game already open will not receive the update.
If the person hosting the game does not have the update the key can still bug even if you have the update. (It all depends on who is hosting the game)
Host had the patch and key still didnt drop

Hello everybody,
I wanted to clear up some confusion around the keydrop issue - We fixed one major case causing the keydrop bug, we didn't solve the whole issue as we didn't have time to get that into this patch. We have the remaining issue causing the key drop bug solved in a future patch, but for now the issue will occur less frequently. It has to do with certain enemies ( like the Red Templar Shadow ) failing to die properly during an elemental death ( turned to ice, burned to ashes, ect. ).
The heisenpots are in a similar situation ( If I'm remembering the change that got into this patch correctly ), we fixed re-forming pots for the majority of cases with projectiles but with melee impacts the issue can still occur occasionally. On the whole, however , heisenpots should be a rarer occurrence. We're working towards a total solution on this one.

So honestly you mean a big middle finger to the people who actually keep playing your awful (in terms of service) multiplayer? I'm currently 20th on boards and used to be 12th when i cared abit more but it became obvious to me that bioware could care less about it's customer service and more about juicing up the community for future dlc that again, will be buggy and will be a series of broken things for you to milk money off us with.
Thank you for confirming that bioware does not care about it's customers amelia. I am sure the reddit forums will love this post dearly.

This has to be some sort of stand up joke. How can you fix something and not implement it? I have never ever seen something of the sort happen till today. Just formulate a separate patch "Key Fix" and implement it. Oh my god I hope that this is a joke I really do.
Why not postpone the patch for another day and get it done right? Ah why do I bother. The gaming industry is going down the toilet

Actually, one of our engineers spent his Holiday break making some of the fixes in this patch possible - including the partial fix to the Keydrop. BioWare is one of the most player focused developers in the industry, suggesting we don't care about our fans is quite silly.

Can you comment on Dragon Rage not restoring life while Rampage is active? Was this an intentional change?

But you dont. You dont give a single damn about us and it shows. The lack of communication, the lies, the excuses, the complete lack of patches. Its pathetic, especially from a AAA title.
If you truely cared about us then youd apologise for the complete mess you have released.

Amelia, thank you for posting but you released a game a month later than originally intended to avoid issues like these. The fact that you had to have someone work over the holidays is not the issue here, nor is it a valid excuse for failing to fix the issue in full. Your reply is appreciated but you told this community how Bioware has one of the best QA teams in the business and you have not demonstrated that to be true even once with DAMP. If I made a customer a promise and did not deliver, I would certainlny be working over the holidays to get it resolved; that's how professional businesses operate. You make it sound like Bioware went above and beyond when you still have yet to properly fix the issue. Again, thank you for taking the time to reply but you claims about Bioware have been proven utterly wrong with DAMP.

So, for the first time, I am glad the console versions is coming later. I would be pissed if the keybug still persisted despite being patched to patch 3.

The problem is the way you convey things to us. If you know what is causing the glitch, is it too much to ask for you to explain to us why it is happening? Or to be honest and say, "This will partially fix the key glitch" rather than have everyone losing it because they think it should all be fixed? It seems like you fear the backlash so you ever so slowly peel that band-aid off. Just rip it off, we aren't babies, we just want to know what is going on with a game we enjoy playing.

I'm sure you're right amelia. I'll simply let the dev team go back to vacation when their game is addled with bugs and not actually fixing the issues and lying about it in their patch notes. Because that surely is a sign you care as a company. I'll let you get back to doing what you guys do best, absolutely nothing. I think there's better things I can do with my time, as a game reviewer, a competitive gamer and a video game enthusiast than be insulted by a bioware representative and told that my issues with the game are easily dismissed and "silly".
Do try to keep up the ruse that you care, i'm sure most of the community believes it and I'm sure you'll make an extra million off dlc sales alone, but it will not be from me. Good bye.
Didn't realize they made a killing on the free dlc they release. .

I deleted the DLC from XBOX One because of the key glitch. Recently I stopped playing the multiplayer because it lacks content and also because of the key glitch.
I was about to get back to play but the key glitch is still there. So, it seems I will only get back to play it in february, when patch 4 arrives. lol
I expected more from Bioware, really

So, I am not going to post my opinion on that semi fixed key glitch, the others already said everything I wanted to say.
Are you guys aware that, while beeing under the effect of rampage, that dragon rage isn't healing the user?
Are the colour changes to some armors a bug or a feature?
What about the last DLC map?

Hey Amelia,
I can't seem to find the new destruction route. Mind telling me if it made its way into patch 3?
Thanks.

...are you trying to make us feel guilty for requesting support for your game? By the time the next patch rolls around, it'll be a quarter of a year since release and the day 1 quality control issues are still here. Each token attempt at a "fix" has introduced almost as many new problems as solutions.

It's literally like you're trying to make us feel guilty for requesting actual support for your game, Amelia, and that's something I don't quite appreciate as a consumer and avid gamer.
If the team doesn't want to actively support the multiplayer format, then just say so. Don't bother with dithering about with placations.
I'm grateful I can finally break a damn pot now, but, you know, I would take pots not breaking when the old patch was actually less problematic than the new one.
I definitely would rather have old rampage back. Even with the constant crits from axe of the dragon hunter this healing is... subpar compared to what dragon's rage did.
The Demon Commander did not need a nerf, and the Venatori Commander needs a buff.
If you're going to trivialise the gameplay and expect all of the effort and challenge to come from users navigating your bugged system, then you have a bad design model which you need to re-visit.

>Tweaked the balance of the Demon Commander in multiplayer mode.
Seriously??! Well done BSN, your incessent whining instead of actually learning to play the damn game has payed off.
God forbid we actually have something challenging in this game.
>Fixed issue that caused Mind Blast’s upgrade, Fortifying Blast, to not provide additional barrier.
Lovely. Now I might consider using mind blast on more characters.
>Fixed issue in multiplayer mode that would result in the healing portion of Rampage to stop working in certain circumstances.
Now my reaver can finally play in perilous without being completely useless.
All in all, this is a good thing. Im glad that this has finally been announced, even though I think its a month too late. Thanks bioware. Now if only we can get some more interesting weekend events...

they tell you they do their job on holiday is insulting?
yes you are the BIGGEST CUSTOMER ever
Yes, it is insulting. They've been on vacation for 2 months--meaning by next patch will be 3 months after release. So saying "one of our people had to cut into his vacation time to bring you a nonfunctional fix that introduces a slew of new problems a good chunk of the year later" is very insulting.
