Yeah, the team specifically put together to work on multiplayer not only doesn't want to actively support something they've been working on for however many months but then they're also then going to tell us they don't want to support it. They totally want to look bad, just like everyone else in the world wants to look at their jobs. Seems legit.

I wanted to clear up some confusion around the keydrop issue - We fixed one major case causing the keydrop bug, we didn't solve the whole issue as we didn't have time to get that into this patch. We have the remaining issue causing the key drop bug solved in a future patch, but for now the issue will occur less frequently. It has to do with certain enemies ( like the Red Templar Shadow ) failing to die properly during an elemental death ( turned to ice, burned to ashes, ect. ).
The heisenpots are in a similar situation ( If I'm remembering the change that got into this patch correctly ), we fixed re-forming pots for the majority of cases with projectiles but with melee impacts the issue can still occur occasionally. On the whole, however , heisenpots should be a rarer occurrence. We're working towards a total solution on this one.

Thank you for clarifying and bothering to communicate at all Amelia. I really appreciate it. Hopefully the Red Shadow behavior gets sorted out. Quick question though; What causes the Red Templar Wave 5 round to never finish after an "all clear?" Is that Red Shadow related too? I'm not sure how often that's happening internally at BioWare or even on other platforms but, on the PS3, it's happening quite frequently.

but i do agree with the Dev they care about the community.
all the multiplay for mass effect 3 is free of charge. 1 year game balance change
you won't find another game studio do the same easily

It ain't free, you pay for it when you buy the game, and if you want to succeed faster you can pay more money for that through chests. Pay 2 win, it is what kills games now.
I'm pretty sure that QA has been doing what any of us would expect them to do - trying to identify and find solutions for as many bugs as they can.
I'm also sure that they are not the ones who made the decisions regarding what would get resources to fix, or whether the game would be delayed again when they released it in November. QA departments don't make those decisions.
Dog-piling on them isn't going to fix anything.
Nor is accusing everyone who has a different perspective of being a troll. If you're finding yourself directing your rage at everyone and everything that isn't reinforcing your angry position, you're generating a very hostile echo chamber that makes it difficult for any kind of productive conversation to happen.
I would like more interaction with the developers and QA team to occur, and I understand the frustrations over that. I also find myself frustrated that every time a developer attempts to communicate with us, they get dog-piled on, and have every little thing they say picked apart and raged about without proper context.
If we can dial things back, and have a more productive dialogue, it could help us generate the communication necessary to identify more of the issues at the heart of the key glitch.

I don't believe you can selectively install patches. People who haven't installed it yet will be able to avoid doing so by playing offline - not that it would help with the MP portion of the game.
I just want to know if the change to Rampage not healing you in combination with Dragon Rage is intentional.

So what are games like Diablo, Guild Wars, X and Y generic fps games? I think it would actually be harder to name a somewhat popular game with multiplayer in which the game devs did not offer free support it for some time. So Bioware slapped FREE DLC tag on content and you're all ogling over how amazingly generous Bioware is? inb4 you asking me to name another game studio who offers up free content...

Actually, one of our engineers spent his Holiday break making some of the fixes in this patch possible - including the partial fix to the Keydrop. BioWare is one of the most player focused developers in the industry, suggesting we don't care about our fans is quite silly.
