So, in the run-up to the release of ME2 I have
been working on my 'final' playthrough of ME1. Putting
all my ducks in a row with missions, dialogue choices, you name it.
Thinking I'd prefer to keep my romance options fairly open in ME2, I strove to stay away from both romance options
whilst keeping up conversations with both of the ladies.
Then I got ninja-romanced by Ashley. I
later came to understand this is a common complaint.
I stopped talking to her immediately before the
conversation gets obviously intimate and hoped that this would dissuade
her from making with the kiss scene. Alas, I
had gone too far, and by that time I had
completed the vast majority of the game again and rather unwilling to
spend another twenty five hours replaying the game yet again. So I picked the Renegade options to explain to her the
error of her ways.
Thus, my question. Would this particular
instance of ****tery, all alone amongst my generally amiable choices
in regards to the good sergeant, have an effect on anything in ME2? And the last...two
conversations that I missed: merely for flavor, or will having avoided them
result in more unwanted consequences? I
covered xenophobia and grandaddy already, which I
figured would be the things to transfer over, if anything.
There they are: will having missed the last two conversations with Ash, in addition to getting whiny with her after lockdown, have any actual effect in ME2?
Incidentally, I would have posted this on the ME2 spoiler forum if I had been able, but my copy arrives tomorrow and I cannot post there. I figured this was the next best thing. I will understand if a mod swoops down from the heavens to show this post the error of its ways.
Crazy Decisions: An ME1-ME2 question.
