Or other small ones like the assassin/alchemist, though mostly with the Legionairre. Does anyone get camera control problems with these guys? The camera view drops down low and I can't tell whether I am coming or going. Is there a button to push to change camera angle perhaps that I am hitting? It's very annoying.
Camera angles and my Legionaire....

I've had this problem with non small characters, too. It makes it really difficult to fight behemoths and whatever else is around them when they throw up their spike wall and screw up your camera.

Yup, I feel your pain lol.
I think the main cause is from accidentally clicking R3 (on PS4). I believe this is a "target" button. It causes the camera to lock onto a target...and yes, for the Dwarves, the camera angle gets very low to the ground.
The camera also goes really screwy when I'm tanking the big red demons who throw up that curved red wall in front of them (name?). The camera gets stuck on the red wall, and it becomes really hard to tell what's going on.

I generally only target-lock pots, because even with normal-sized characters, I find the camera angle gets wonky and difficult to work with.

I think this clip accurately captures the situation.
