Turians are extinct in the time of ME4. 100% confirmed. Sorry Techno.
Are we sure it's not 50% confirmed? Or only 25% confirmed?
Oh well, preorder cancelled.
Gaming journalism really has perfected the art of selling the same turd, time and time and time again.
Agreed 100%, though it's probably unfair to single out gaming journalism in a world inhabited by Apple, Microsoft, Sony, EA, Fox, BBC, Disney, CBS, EMI, Warners, U2, Tories, Democrats, Republicans, to name but a few.
I used to be particularly amused every time I was told that REM's latest album was a return to form, and definitely their best since before Bill left. ![]()
OT - I'm a cynical optimist, if there can be such a thing, and I retain the hope that when I receive my copy of ME Whatever-It's-Called (ffs Bioware, throw us a feckin bone here) on its day of release, it won't be so bugged that it'll brick the new PS4 I'll have bought for the occasion. I'm open minded about the SP content. Just give me co-op MP. With Krogans. I'll be happy unless it absolutely sucks.
As others have said, if Bioware were to surprise us by making a next-gen online MP version of ME3, I would have a PS4 tomorrow. Or on whatever day they would release a remastered trilogy.

To be honest it might only be 0% confirmed.
^^^^ I havent played any RPG except ME and Kotor. If i prefer (good) story focused games, what shld i try next ? DAO ?
Hard to say. It is quite a subjective thing - I, for example, didn't enjoy DAO much, and I couldn't even drag myself to the end. Some other people will praise it as the best game ever.
Personally, I'm a big fan of TES games, but if you prefer story-focused games, they might not be the ones best suited for you. Not saying they have a bad storyline, Morrowind's story for example is very very good in my opinion, but there's simply so much more to the game that the story isn't going to be central to it.
Another (subjective) truth is that, sadly, most very good story-driven RPGs are a thing of the past. There are many old school RPGs that truly had awesome plots. I would rank Kotor among them, probably. Kotor II just wasn't that good though.
So, if you think you can enjoy games with old graphics and mechanics, but with great, deep worlds and plots, you have many to choose from. I would mention Baldur's Gate II, Deus Ex, and I heard great things about Plaescape: Torment as well. But really, if you're okay with playing old games you've got lots to choose from.
If, on the other hand, you have a problem with that (and I guess most would...), then you got less choices. I heard many praising the Witcher, but it would not run on my old pc, so I never played them. I know I plan on playing both 1 and 2 now, as the third installment seems awesome. However, they have defected to the open world genre too, with the 3.
DA is always a choice, but as I said, I'm not going to advice it, personally.
Then a pretty nice story-driven RPG I played lately has been Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Kinda different, but still very good, it is the successor of the original Deus Ex, but is set before the original in the timeline. I'd say give it a try, it's a really solid game with a focus on stealth.
I could mention Neverwinter Nights I and II as well, but I wouldn't count them among the games with great plots. The expansions of both games, though, were absolutely brilliant, on the plot side too.
Then there's TES, of course, but as I said it's kind of a different game genre. I would advice you to try it out at least once though, as they are truly awesome games. Try to avoid Oblivion though, it was by far the weakest installment. Morrowind is surely the deepest one, both from a plot and a world characterization side. However, it suffers from what is a pretty awful combat system by today's standards. Skyrim, on the other hand, has a... Shall I say, lighter story and characterization, but it has a great epic feeling to it and great graphics and immersion. Whatever you choose, don't forget to mod the hell out of it, as mods is where TES games truly make the jump from everything else you'll ever experience.
On the same line, you might consider Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Same thing of TES game, but a different, post-apocalyptic setting.
If you need a hand with modding either TES or Fallout games, shoot me a PM and I'll try to help you out and direct you. If I get to answer my PMs, that is XD
Anddd... I think that's pretty much all I can think of, right now. Hope I helped.
I'd say it's easily 27.54% more confirmed than Half Life 3.
A random Anno appears!
Neat.

I have this game for months... I played it only once and didn't enjoy much the gameplay, but I should probably give it an other try, the story seems worth it.
Good article, but it's kind of hard to get excited about new games anymore. Not until I see the end product will I make a judgement. So many disappointments lately...
fixed.
Not really. Knew Destiny wasn't gonna be great since I played the Beta. More like Assassin's Creed Unity and Halo Master Chief Collection... As great as DA:I looks too, it's not without it's problems... ![]()
This is 100% confirmed as much as I am 100% sober

Will there be romanceable Krogan?
I want to see this during a romance scene with a Krogan....
....and hear the Krogan sounding like that during said romance scene.
I think i ll shoot at one old game to start with, thx. Maybe i ll even drag the GF with meAnddd... I think that's pretty much all I can think of, right now. Hope I helped.

Goes quite along my taste.
If game completion is an indicator I'd recommend this list, too. With a notable exception: Deus Ex HR - I think you should definitely play the Directors Cut - I rage-uninstalled the vanilla on my second playthrough. Someone thought it'd be a good idea to have a different team work on the boss battles.
I also enjoeyed the last Bioshock game - until I hit the final battle. I don't like these kinds of battles where you're left clueless about the objective. Reason enough to not replay it for me.

Some idiot helped cure the genophage. As expected, Krogans ate all the Turians.
Hard to say. It is quite a subjective thing...
....
I'll put a commendation in for the original Witcher (the Witcher 2 also - but I preferred the first one); it's a sort of open world but very story led so you're never wandering around clueless (which tends to happen to me playing TES games) - though, of course, you can take time out from the quests to just go splatter some Drowners.
... and side-quests make sense in The Witcher; you're a professional monster hunter by trade so taking a contract to kill some beasty in the swamp is perfectly in keeping with who Geralt is. The Enhanced Edition upgrade means that graphically it still holds up today and has by far the best environmental atmosphere (imo) in any fantasy type RPG I've never played. I've literally spent time just watching the sunset over the Dike or Black Tern Island.
CD Projekt Red are based out of Poland and the game feels more Olde Worlde Castley than Disney Castley as a result; we're surrounded by ancient crumbling piles of castle in Europe and I think the reality of that is better felt in The Witcher than say Dragon Age.
The Witcher 2 is good too but they made a couple of odd gameplay decisions like quick time events (ruined the fist-fighting mini-game) and removing the ability to chug potions in combat (which simply just reduces the appeal of training in alchemy rather than make the game harder)... and the story just didn't grip me as much as the original. It is the most gorgeous looking fantasy RPG though.
Since Witcher 2 become free on Xbox Live last week, I gave it shoot, but I couldn't even beat the Tutorial
The fonts are unreadably small, and it's super buggy, it was pretty disappointing, but I might give it another try and jump straight to the story.

Welp, that's enough internet for today. See you all tomorrow.
It was excitement not desperation.Caineghis 100% confirmed for desperation
