goes hand in hand with most noobs.... it's hard so cheat. yawn... move along. Let me find my VAC crowbar... this is why we don't play with Europe and Asia. Legitimate skills are beyond your reasoning.

Okay, Tex. You can put your e-peen back and when you do, figure out the difference between hard and tedious--because if you think it requires skills to gather metals, perhaps you have the wrong idea of what "legitimate skills" mean.

No one is saying it's "hard" to grind. No one is saying it's too difficult a task. After your third or so playthrough, it becomes tiresome, monotonous and tedious. None of which requires a particular skill set to overcome.

If you never used cheats to mess around like the sims to build ridiculous things or gta to drop tanks and put instant 5 star police, i say you are either lying or boring.

problem is (a part of) the cheaters afterwards complain about difficulty,  to less content or make videos that distort reality (and others use them to complain about it). does anybody believe the guy complaining about to less content begin cheating after finishing the game? no he cheated to roflstomp everything in the game, so finished it way faster and complain afterwards about the lack of tactic and the lack of content. thats the problem, not people at their second playthrough speed things a little bit up

I played the game once without cheats, NM with FF as a DD rogue. I couldn't be bothered to so much as start it up after that without cheating, because the gameplay is just that boring to me. Make the gameplay more interesting or tactical and maybe people would stop cheating. Most people who exploit find the exploits because they are bored and frustrated at how poorly designed certain features of the game are.

-Plays SP with Europe and Asia
-doesn't need mods for that

Sounds legit

And now patch 3 give to crafted shields an armor rating of 0. wonderful job bioware, more reasons to NOT download your patch.

Maybe when they hot fix the shields, we'll get the dupe back.

What would you build in the Sims, anyway? I never even knew there were cheats.

I guess that makes me boring, so I suppose my feelings should be hurt or something.

Fair point. I never played Jade Empire or Mass Effect on PC. KoTOR though certainly had a modding community that added items, gear and content.

Yeah, but Bio had nothing to do with that.

They hotfixed the last one.

I'm not holding my breath for them letting me dupe in peace, however.

actually in the sims i would play fair, get a shitload of money and get to real game (building houses). Otherwise, with cheats the game was pretty short, by understand people that use it.

but you never heard of rosebud? that was like the most common cheat ever.

And come one, you obviously cheated or exploited a game before, no missigno or mew in pokemon? no tanks in gta?  those are things i did mostly when i was i child but still... really you never did any of that?

and i meant it as a joke, don't want to hurt feelings here :P

So called cheats are half of the fun in The Sims games. Console Commands are officially supported, and updated with every new patch.

The amount of commands and possibilities is HUGE. Playing without those commands makes the game very limited and boring. Even more in case of current iteration - Sims 4. Without mods and console commands the base game is ... garbage, believe me.

oh that ti would actually work as intened?

actually i cant because i have no idea what this game was trying to be since it started out as a multiplayer RPG because they forgot who their audience was.

Yeah, but Bio had nothing to do with that.

Ok... but they're certainly making it a lot more difficult this time around.

And fine, fine. Point taken. DAO still had a toolset, modding was still encouraged by Bioware, so... there's your precedent.

i actually enjoy it, (but don't support the series and it's $1000+ to get full content, the sims 2 was the last i'll ever buy until they change the series and i didn't play 4th yet). But the sims 3 with expansions was pretty cool, but it was because i kind of role-played it, once my char died, and i had my wife pretty much go on quests to find a way to bring him back to life, that included unicorns, traveling to other countries, mastering skills, that was pretty cool.

How dare you use an old file. You should have made a new game entirely and walked around haven for 45 minutes looking for iron

maybe, EA made the executive decision to launch on said date so the game was rushed in tech terms and polishing (it's their fault but they seek profit just as any other company, and it was a perfect release date). Independent bioware would be better but this business is hard, they might fall into bankruptcy with no support from a big company (just wish it was another one).

And it started as a multiplayer before DA2, DAI is not what they had in store for that, it was a different game, it would just be another dragon age . The important thing is they listened, we don't have a multiplayer focused dragon age.
