Is there a way to turn on the sparkles?  I run around hitting the V key over and over because I miss loot all the time.  It's annoying.

Also, why do I need to be Right On Top of loot in order to loot whatever it is?  It would be really nice if the diameter was doubled, or tripled.  Or at the very least, if it would auto-walk me the two steps to go stand on top of the loot that I'd like to loot, instead of making me get into the exact right position to loot it myself.

It takes a while but you get used to it.

I would prefer "loot the area".  If you've got more than one lying around, looting one will loot them all.

I liked sparkly loot but I'm getting used to the pinger now that it works better than when the game first came out (because we can see the dots on the mini map). But I do wish there was a "loot all" button so we don't have to do the bend over and pick up each piece of loot animation, over and over and over.

You get used to it if you're driving in Action mode. Using the Tac Cam makes collecting loot extremely frustrating.

Sing it, Sister.

I never use Tac Cam.  Ever.  I find the camera pretty annoying in this game, too.  Either I've got branches in my face, or the camera has hit the rocks behind me and I'm looking at the sky, or it's autozoomed way in and then out as I turn... it's pretty motion-sickness-inducing.

I prefer the sparkly loot to the current situation. There is only one positive aspect to the sonar, if you do not hear *ping* you don't have to look for anything. It often save times. However it's thematically weird, it would be more at home in mass effect, and I end up pressing the button every ten seconds or so which detracts from immersing in the world quite a bit. I wouldn't be suprised if the mind at work behind this system was already the one behind such things as planet and system scanning in ME and this is not a complment.
