In your opinion, what is the most underrated skill in your build?

That's true. It's a bit pointless going for "perfect builds" and ultimate equipment as it's overkill in the game. I often forget using thousand cuts etc. anyway as it's seldom needed.

Thanks. I'm still a bit confused, though:

Poisoned Weapons

  • Poison is applied with any attack from the caster while the ability is active.
  • Poison ticks 5 times in 8 seconds.
  • Poison damage ignores armor.
  • [Mistake/Bug] ability_multiplier is 45% per tick, not 25% as stated in description.

The description for Infected Wounds say: "You do more damage with your weapons while poisoned weapons is active. Damage Bonus: 25%". According to the above it seems that the ability multiplier is added to the poison ticks rather than to weapon attacks, but it isn't very clear IMO. Guess I'll test it out when I have it upgraded.

If it's 45% bonus for weapon attacks for 10 seconds, that's A LOT, especially if combined with Mighty Offense tonics etc.

Your getting the DoT and the upgrade mixed up, because the 25%(45%) is the DoT, not the upgrade.
The upgrade is this:

Infected Wounds (Upgrade)

  • Adds a flat +10% to ability_multiplier (not damage_multiplier) for all attacks (including autoattacks) while Poisoned Weapons is active.

Since its an ability multiplier, its insignificant on abilities. Like if your using an ability that gives 300% damage, its now 310% damage. Unless I've got puffs info wrong.
A 10% ability bonus is 100% not worth it, but the DoT is pretty nice at 45% and 5 ticks.

No, you've got it right: the 10% is additive, not multiplicative. The 10% is kind of nice on autoattacks, so if you do most of your damage that way it might be worth it to include in your build. But then again as a rogue your damage should not be coming mostly from autoattacks.

I think if mighty blow was slightly stronger or had a lower CD it would make for a far more enjoyable archetype. Its just too hard to outshine 8 CD massive stealth damage twin fangs.

Agreed.  But I do love the way my controller vibrates when I slam a dude to the ground.

OK. Still confused. The description for Infected Wounds was exactly as I said in the game guide and in the game and here:

"Your poison helps your blades and arrows bite deeper. You do more damage with your weapons while Poisoned Weapons is active.

Damage Bonus: 25%"

So all standard descriptions are basically wrong about the upgrade?

While there are certainly better skills, mine would have to be Lunge and Slash.  It's a nice bit of damage, but really I love it as a quick way to chase down the one or two mobs who manage to squeeze by your front line, or to close the distance on archers then follow it up with a shield bash.  I somewhat prefer it to grappling chain or charging bull (though my tank has both of those as well) since it never fails (as grappling chain does often) and doesn't drain as much stamina as charging bull.  Also if the situation is right you can use it to avoid a big attack by jumping to another enemy before it lands.

Yes, the description is simply incorrect. And it is far from the only ability where the in-game description is wrong. In fact you should take all in-game descriptions with a grain of salt and avoid treating them as gospel.
