I love how Dagna annoys master Harritt and when she remembers her affection for the HoF. I also liked Threnn, how she was still loyal to Loghain even after all those years (in my world state Alistair and Anora married and Loghain went through the joining, so I don't know if her dialogue lines change if he's dead).

She just says that Loghain was betrayed and they shouldn't have killed him, something like that.

I'm so used to Stephane Cornicard voicing major badasses like Riordan or Stroud, etc, hearing him voicing some aloof scholar with absolutely no self-preservation instinct whatsoever was kinda endearing. 

 

He's the type of dude who would just avoid getting eaten by a dragon and shout 'OMG FASCINATING LOOK AT ITS TEETH' :S

He's one of my favorites, too, and one of the characters I wish we could talk to in Skyhold after recruitment.

 

Actually, I wish we could talk to all of the agents in Skyhold. "So, Fairbanks, how are your people settling in? Keeping clear of Claire? Seriously, that one's a bunny boiler, I'm sure of it."

The obvious ones have been mentioned like Cabot, Your Trainer and Minaeve. I also like the empresses' handmaidens. I barely noticed Charter in my previous playthroughs but for the first time I got that string of dialogue she has with scout Pallane, or maybe I just noticed it for the first time now. I like her. I like the Spirit of Command too. There's this elf in Val Royeaux that scolds the noble she was sent to accompany because he treated her like a servant, she was cool. The guy who makes poorly made wind noises deserves an honorable mention. Oh! And the surgeon. She's so weird with her largely up to date ideas of what health entails and then just slips in 'the right balance of bodily humours' in there like it aint no thang. I also really like the merchant who sells you the mysterious box, made the mistake of not even talking to him the first time but he has a surprising amount of interesting stuff to say. Conspicuous consumption to the max man.

I would say Chancer de Lion, Avaar Chieftain, or 'the end table', but I'm going to have to go with 'The Lovesick Warden'.

He isn't even a character, he was just some warden I caught fidgeting and looking like he was practicing some sort of confession speech. It was adorable.

I think it's implied, but maybe we can head canon that they survived!   Someone in another thread mentioned that they saw their bodies, but I haven't in my play-through.

I have a few... primarily Your Trainer, and that kid... Lysas, from Redcliffe Village. He's one of the mages under Fiona's care, and wants nothing to do with the Tevinter Imperium, but still wants to be free. Seeing him in the future really tugged at my heart strings because I really just wanted to be like... 'Come with me. NOW.'

 

Also the halla guy from the Dalish camp. He even calls me lethallan on my human, and it gives me warm fuzzy feelings. Also Adan, I'm fond of grumpy jerks with hearts of gold. Listening to the conversations he has with messengers around Haven... he really does care!

The "Do you even know what I'm carrying? It's an urgent missive for Josie, you low-ranker!" guy that says "I'm alive despite your incompetence" when you get his sorry ass safe?

 

That guy needs to die as a default outcome...
