The banter was kind of annoying at first but it's really grown on me.

 

I can't help thinking that at the start, they just said their line and only more recently did the other characters start responding.

The set up line is the same, but now we have (11?) punchlines?

 

The responses to the Ham in camp are wonderful...

 

What are your favourite DAMP banters and responses?

• The last time I met a group of rebel mages, I let them live. One of them told a funny story.

• I met the Divine Justinia only once before she died, she was lovely.
  - - - Really? I thought she'd be...'Divine' (Alchemist)
  - - -  She could have done more for the mages though. (Elementalist)

• I pray the Maker smiles on the Inquisition, our cause is righteous.
• When all this is done I'm going to join the inquisition.

Dammit! I can't remember it verbatim, but it's something like "Is this what I'm reduced to? Getting whatever the Inquisition wants.". I think it's her anyway.

I think 'mr smooth' was admiring the Reaver as well but I don't recall the line.

Another funny one... I think it's a response to the archer talking about all the people in the world and the Katari says "they're all pretty much the same"... The tone of his voice really cracks me up

It's intresting that I still occassionally will hear a line I've never heard before... After probably around a thousand games played you would think you would have heard every line but every now and then someone will say something I've never heard before

I also chuckle at the Keeper's snarky reply "Lovely... I'm sure."  Cat fight could ensue.

 

Also love the Katari lines and VO.  Overall though I love the Alchemist.  She like a little rainbow of smiling death (funny, but don't ****** her off).  Love her. 

 

I agree too that I listen and do keep hearing different responses.  I actually look forward to variety of players, and often having two of the same class.  There's just so many combinations.
