So for some reason the microphone is in use, every sound I make it echoes. Tap the screen, it echoes.

 

Also if I lower the monitor close to closing, it makes a high pitch squealing sound, like really loud. It only stops if the computer is turned off.

 

Anyone know how to turn it off? But still talk to people using it on skype?

I'll try to pitch in what I can. There's an option to reduce microphone echo. I believe that the option is called Acoustic Echo Cancellation or something along those lines.
