I didn't have any trouble redeeming, downloading or installing any of my pre-order content (phew). However, the rings and books that came with the Steam pre-order have disappeared during the origin story. I was mid-way through the Dwarf Noble Warrior story and all the items were in my inventory.

SPOILER
After being exhiled all the items from my inventory were obviously removed but this included all the rings etc. Do I get access to them later on again or am I SOL?

I am have the same problem. WTF! I will be pissed if we can't get them back.
