I suppose the end scene (before the epilogue, in your quarters) will invariably feature your LI if you have one, and I'm just curious: what if the Inquisitor doesn't romance anybody? What'll the scene be like? Anyone tried that?
Probably have the inquisitor happily go to the balcony and take a deep breath by themselves.
Well, if you're like me and made the mistake of romancing Solas (still crying), Cass comes out and has a nice convo with your Inquisitor. My Quizzy in that play through was friends with her though, not sure about if Cass doesn't like them.
Yes, if the Inquisitor isn't romancing anyone, they'll just be there by themselves.

What!? I romanced him in my first game, and Cass didn't come talk to me. I thought we were friends, Cass! *cries* In that game, Cass wound up Divine, though, so maybe that affects it, too, or was she Divine in your game, too?

The same thing happened to me. I was alone on the balcony but Cass was Divine.
I made Leliana divine, and Cass told me during the celebration party that she considers me her BFF, but I was still alone at the balcony.
But I kinda like the alone scene the most, to be honest. I guess it's because it reminds me of...me

I know those feels. *forever alone hug* I thought my inquisitor was oddly happy in that scene, but I just chalked it up to being super happy to still be alive and because victory and all that. LOL.

Varric kinda stands in for the love interest scenes. At least, he did for me.
I'm torn about whether I like it. On one hand, I already celebrated with those close to me, so stepping out to enjoy a quiet moment alone, to just be in that moment with my own thoughts and feelings, feels right. On the other hand, I fiercely wish that Bioware allowed platonic friendships more weight and emphasis in their games, and let someone dear to me make an appearance as well as have some extra "friendship scenes" when not romancing anyone. Let me form a pure, deep, meaningful, lasting, mutually suppportive bond that doesn't depend on swapping spit. Cole would have been a perfect candidate for me in that regard, as well as Cassandra.

Yeah, it would have been nice if you could have gotten a friend scene with Cole, Varric, or even Vivienne depending on who you had the highest approval from.

Any melancholy that balcony scene might have had for forever alone Inquisitors is kinda ruined by the bombastic main theme blaring in the background.
You'd think for the Solas romance version, at least, they'd do something a little more...poignant.
