Where does it say that shepard was exposed to element 0?

Was looking at the me wiki and found this:
2168 CE
Shepard receives secondary exposure to element zero. Permanent biotic inclination manifests.

What was the official source for this? It never said that in the codex. If this is really cannon then it could explain the option to use biotic powers for shepard throughout the trilogy.

Look for a comment starting with the word "Optimal" by Stormwaltz.

Hmm... I think it was mentioned in the ME1 Codex.

Developer documentary.
Shepard is technically a latent biotic in all classes.
My Shepard is a Soldier, and I have my background for him being that since he was nearly a grown man already by the time he was exposed, he never considered ever getting information on it. In fact, for him, I'd say that the option for the biotics to develop wasn't possible until he was resurrected.

Which would explain why Push is available as a bonus talent for Shep in ME1 no matter what. I basically roll a soldier in the first game, because I love being able to use all the weapons, but also enjoy having a bit of fun with a biotic power, and just have Cerberus augment this and created a Vanguard.

I'm sorry Julia, but I made it quite clear where men and women stand.

With enough radiation, I'm sure Massively's Shepard became one as well
