I addressed this in my review TC check it in my signature.

And LOL at the Mr. Denial that says we were playing the game WRONG  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Now games will come with a Manual that instead of telling you the game mechanics and basics is going to say "How to play this game, What to not expect...."

The self hypnosis is strong.

This story is not their best. Like I said there are valid points, but that doesn't make the formula wrong. This series is to envoke RPG elements forgotten to those stuck in a sandbox loot simulator for the last few years. The fact that you weren't pulled off your feet and made to follow the story is a 50/50 split. It needed more power behind it. That being said it's not going to be better with 1000 fetch quests to fill a desert.

Meh, just a bunch of bandwagon monkeys... I made up my own mind. I know how to play a game without dissecting it. Get on my lvl peace.

The problem with loot to me is that it is pointless, crafting will beat almost any loot you get.

That's another problem, which I thought about adding in an edit, but meh.

I hate the RNG chest stuff, and I hate getting level 8 gear off a level 12 dragon. I like the crafting system (provided I get any usable schematics at all without cheesing the chests), but I want something to look forward to when I kill a boss. Dropping the level requirements and just going by stats is an unrealistic option now that we can't assign them at level up (which I truthfully don't really have a problem with), but they could at least make them really, really good.

And I really like this game.

Also, Mr. Liquid here could stand to cut back on telling people they're doing things wrong when his perspective on this is questionable at best.

Then perhaps they should make intresting quests instead of boring fetch quests?

I know how to play a game without dissecting it too, but the flaws are so painfully obvious that i would have to be stupid not to notice them.

Except you've nothing better to do than revel in it... so you've cemented my point. You're lost in a burned out world of gaming. This game is so boring to you that you swim in forum posts saying how it doesn't give you everything you wanted or needed in the world. That's why I gave you my advice... and you can still argue all you like, but I suggest you take a step back and use a little more regard toward the next RPG. "No matter where you go, there you are."

If i was burned out by gaming then i wouldn't be playing Origins right now.

The only thing i need to do with the next RPG is actually enjoy the experience, which i will since Inquisition's side quests has set the bar so bloody low.

I'm anything but "reveling" in this bland disappointment.

Prove me wrong.

Isn't that exactly what we were arguing for? That the world is bland, devoid of intriguing stuff to motivate the player to progress along the developer envisioned path and that the numerous boring fetch quests being pure content fillers only make it worse?
