The elven mage who was so excited to be placed in charge of the Library is not showing up for me, on my "canon" (for my storyline) playthrough, and it's annoying me! Can't chat with him, can't get the quest to find all 48 of those wonderful Tethras tales ...
Anyone else run across this?
Oh -- and a note: I've sided with the mages, Skyhold is completely upgraded ... and still nyet.
Do you have the perk that gives you extra researchers? If not then that's why you don't have him.
if that's the same one that allows you to subject alexius to being your researcher, then yes, i have that one. i don't know of another?

Is that the Secrets perk "Enhanced Studies"?
Edit: Yup, that's it. Just picked it up and he appeared. Would have been nice if the Prima guide listed that as a requirement.
