i put the codes in to get the files to download for the PC version (through steam) and now it says "mass effect 2 is not installed"..... IT IS INSTALLED... i have it installed through steam. and yet i cannot install this DLC. great....

i got mine from dr pepper and said ME2 does not apprear to be installed. please install the game, and try again ... well i am installin on my pc and i do have steam too but i am gonna try steam one

Yeah, I have mine on disc and have the same problem. I can't even uninstall because it says ME2 is not installed. And yet, I can still play it... wtf?

Come on people. Can't you use a freaking search engine to search for the error message? The first hit is a comprehensive overview of the problem plus advice on how to fix it. The patience and goodwill of helpful forum users is sometimes getting bent to breaking point by people who apparently don't invest one minute into trying to figure out something for themselves :-( It's not like a huge amount of thinking is necessary, as the brain takes care of it all by itself ;-)

So funny, Bravenu3's rant took more time to type his rant, than to solve the problem people are having. Must be hard to live in a world as a narcissistic egotist. Anyhow thanks for the info LOL.

Yeah, I over-reacted. Sorry. But I did take the time to link to solutions for that problem, don't overlook that ;-)   And don't assume you know anything about my typing speed :-P

Bravenu3 is the nice one. Be thankful is wasnt me, I have a typing speed of 8 IPM (Insults per minute)
