For all my fellow Reaver players:

Let's be here for each other ![]()
I think it just means you're going to have to take War Horn + Dragon Rage + Claw the beejesus out of fleeing enemies.
Same boat, can we have the old rampage back post patch lol
spec him without dragonRage , use 2 hand weapon power
play like katari

I bet the Arcane Warrior is LOLing at the Reaver right now.
Laugh all you want AW I bet you're next.
Next? Well, that means AW has a good 6 months before anything actually happens to him.
Going by Bioware logic I wouldn't surprised if they buff Arcane warrior barrier generation by 50% and Nerf the Katari bull charge in the next patch.
I play a lot of AW.

A lot.
Your Reaver is broken? Maybe mine must be on that P90x plan because I love this kit. I never even use Dragon-Rage. Yes... buff pls so I can kick more butt.
Oh man, just tried playing a solo game of Threatening to test it out...
It's terrible ![]()
I don't have any Heal on Kill rings, and its murder trying to clear groups with more than 1 or 2 archers.
And even when you aren't facing half a dozen archers, the Rampage heal is pitifully low compared to what it used to be. I almost died several times fighting normal enemies.
Guess its back to Arcane Warrior and Elementalist for my solo runs now...
I'm so sad ![]()

try do weapon cancel when using rampage

I was.
The problem is if they get panicked. Then they all start to run away, and Weapon-cancelling is pretty terrible at chasing people.
Or if one of them blocks. That was a problem with Dragon Rage too, but at least then I could Devour real quick to break the block and then heal to full very quickly. Now I Devour, take 1 swing, and fall over with a bunch of arrows in my face.
God dangit I am so incredibly sad right now.

but those problems exists b4 patch, single blade block dragon rage .
panicked enemies run around.
his DPS is lower than b4 , but not unplayable .
need to play more like katari .
team game still fine even on perilous . just not necessary get the top score easily

Basically, Reaver's DPS dropped by 75% of what it used to be.
Dragon's Rage does 225% Weapon Damage per swing, and every third swing hits twice. That's 900% weapon damage after 3 swings, or an average of 300% damage per swing. That right there is 66% of your DPS gone.
Dragon's Rage also swings faster than normal auto-attacks. I'm not going to bother doing the math of this vs. normal swings vs. Weapon cancelling, but you're losing more DPS here.
So if you were used to hitting 2k crits with Dragon Rage, you can now get used to doing 700 damage crits with a slower attack speed.
And since your healing is a % of your damage, that means your healing just dropped by 75% too.
The class got completely gutted, plain and simple.

i know what you mean about this.
i am not trying to argue with you how much dps lose in return how much you lose in healing.
i also mentioned he get lower dps
i only mentioned the things you said : enemies got panicked and run around, enemies block dragon rage
those problems existed b4.
everyone spam dragon rage with rampage in b4 with crazy dps.
i also upset with this. but at least he is not unplayable. need careful positioning
seems BW not putting some of the characters data on server so they can't do balancing change weekly
may be need to reconsider the current build
sure he won't be as powerful as before .
still can have fun
hope they can fix the armor quickly
both katari and reaver armor is thin like paper

I'll second this.
I get what you're saying about play the Reaver more like Katari.
But that's just it... If I wanted to play like the Katari, I'd just go play the Katari.
Maybe the Reaver was just too good, even on Perilous, with the top-level gear. I really, sincerely doubt it, given that the Legionaire, Keeper, Elementalist, and Arcane Warrior exist, but whatever. Just halve the healing gained from Dragon Rage or something.
Because right now it feels like I went from playing "Arcane-Warrior-Lite" to playing "Katari 2.0."
After playing her several games, post-patch, I have to say that the rumors of the Reaver's demise are greatly exaggerated. Much ado about nothing, methinks.
