Sure buddy....
Actually no, I find you so damn interesting and not to mention incredibly sexy. I just had to get a closer look. Now lets not speak of this again. It's just too OT.

The one thing that stands out to me in the DAMP forum, an this may be because many of us are older-aged OG BioWare fan peeps, but I have yet to see any "omg, death match initiated, lemme start buttering my popcorn" type comments. And even with the large amounts of negativity, I still find this forum community to be leaps and bounds more civil an mature than almost every other forum I have been or currently are a part of.
This place is NOTHING like most Ubisoft forums. Man, I REALLY hope it stays that way...
Some very sneaky editing to make my posts fit your viewpoint! As always, context is key, and there's a lot of context missing around the things you've posted ( I recommend following @AndrastesTits on Twitter, by the way, she's hilarious ).
Honestly, this video is solid evidence that these forums don't really want dev interaction or communication. When I joined the forum it was because I saw cries for these very things, and I thought I would help. What I quickly realized, however, is that whenever someone sticks their neck out in the forum there are a thousand swords to fall on it regardless of the content of the post. There is this very confusing cognitive dissonance where it seems this community wants interaction and communication, but pushes back fiercely when they actually receive it. A number of users on the BSN turn this space into a hostile, inhospitable environment, and asking why the developers don't interact is strange - the answer is well known. I will say - There are a number of wonderful, helpful community members in these forums whom I really appreciate. Its unfortunate that the people who are behaving poorly get so much attention.
I'm honestly disappointed things went this way, with you especially Penguin. You so quickly turned from a hero into a villain. I'm sorry that you didn't get what you wanted from me. I'm happy that you're taking what seems like a much needed break. Its going to be a good year for MP, there's a lot of awesome stuff coming down the pipe, and if you decide to check in in a few months I know you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Be Excellent to Eachother
Thanks,
Amelia
Oh wow, so you're basically telling us to kindly fùck off? I don't know how you got this job, but you're clearly not up to it, i would suggest a career change, something that does not involve interacting with people.

Are you kidding?

Those are the whole reason that I'm here! I admit, I'm a little disappointed at the lack of Thunderdome challenges, but I'm guessing that it's because no one has figured out an equivalent to Collectors.

Let's not forget BioWareMod0X deleting posts that are the community venting our frustration at bioware be cause the posts are "not constructive" ...
lol, I got a warning by that mod for making a light hearted joke. Technically, I was in the wrong. But contextually, I did not offend anyone.
To be on topic, I think it's fair to feel frustrated but I do think bioware did their best at making the multiplayer component to the game. I think there is a ton of potential to DAMP and with a few fixes, it can be a much more enjoyable experience.
As to the responses by SOME bioware reps, if it is true according to video, I think that is very unprofessional. The customer can always be an ass and often times we are (Especially on the BSN...) but responses like that? wow.

Just wait for Darkspawn DLC.
Now,imagine boss fight versus mf Broodmother.Ten ****** of doom!
Wait... What is it using the fork for?!?
I've never figured that out. My best guess is that it's to stab anyone trying to steal his popcorn.
That's because gamers are not real people silly, they can say whatever they want to us because they've already conned us out of our money and we can't do anything about it.
Yes you can. I spoke to a very nice EA rep today to make a complaint against the comments against myself and this community and I strongly urge you to do the same.
In the words of Martin Prince: 'Individually we are weak, like a single twig, but as a bundle we form a mighty ******'.

On forums or phone? I will do either.
I WANT this game to succeed. I really do.

Your link doesn't work.
It's sad that things have come to this but I think its all bioware deserves right now. I won't participate myself though because I would much rather they retract their incendiary posts, apologize, and fix the game, instead of a concerted effort by players to get EA to breathe down their necks.
But if... we see even more stupid posts I may have to get on the bandwagon.

Isn't that going a little far, now?
I have been following these forums since the game released and havent seen anyone give more of their time and effort thank Penguin. I dont know if we are in the vocal minority, but I havent played SP for more than a minute or two. I enjoy Multiplayer games so that I can play with my friends. SP is all fine and dandy, but it's not for me.
After 30 days of playing since the "DLC", below is a simple day by day break down of the bugs I ran into playing. And these are just the bugs I ran into. I am always playing with 1 - 3 friends, and their crashes effect my game play as well. We even had to try and remember to set each match to Private so that when someone crashed or we didnt get a key, we might be able to get back together. But usually we werent able to because we if there was 2 of us, we got sick and tired of waiting for the game to toss more players in our lobby so we started duoing the match and let people join as the game lets them in (and they arent bugged).
Three of us got together late a couple nights ago to play some DAMP. We played two matches, with three people, and between us all we had three crashes. Two words. Fed. Up. Maybe we will see you in ME3MP. ![]()

I miss Eric Fagan, Derek Hollan and Bryan Johnson!
The Fagnan buffeth, and the Fagnan nerfeth away!

There's a code of silence that we don't dare speak
There's a wall between us and a river so deep
We keep pretending that there's nothing wrong
But there's a code of silence and it can't go on
Is the truth so elusive, so elusive you see
That it ain't enough baby, to bridge the distance between you and me
There's a list of grievance a 100 miles long
There's a code of silence and it can't go on
Well you walk with your eyes open
But your lips they remain sealed
While the vows we made are broken
Beneath the truth you need to reveal
Well I need to know now dog
Need to know what's going on
But c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon

Imo, no. BW works for EA. If they aren't doing their jobs, EA should be informed of it, since it seems quite clear that BW is doing things which wouldn't be allowed if EA corporate commander was seeing what was happening with the game, patches, and forum. In the combat strategy forum, there's a list of grievance, 100 miles long. There's a code of silence, and it can't go on.
Lots of people hate EA, but at the same time, I don't think any company deserves to have such lazy and incompetent work done for them. Not even EA deserves a game company that puts bears and bugs in an update and calls it a DLC.
Consider that you're burning a bridge before you file a complaint. By now, Amelia knows she done f***"d up. There's no reason to threaten her job. If you do, that just sets a precedent for every BioWare employee to just never, ever talk to the playerbase.
Isn't that going a little far, now?
I made a complaint based on the fact that Amelia personally called me sneaky, a villain and expressing disappointment at my frustration, as well as trivializing psychological disorders (cognitive dissonance).
If I spoke like this to one of my clients, id be fired on the spot no question (I work in the community myself). At least if I raise a complaint, something (hopefully) will be done about this ridiculous idea that we as gamers can be treated with zero respect and compassion. EA is desperately trying to improve its public image and when representatives of EA make comments which cause sh*tstorms like this, I can't imagine those comments will be without consequence.
Holding us hostage by saying 'Well we wont communicate at all if you guys get angry at us' is not okay. The point is to change this attitude and encourage better public relations when it comes to communicating with fans who are angry and upset at the poor state of the service they have paid for.

Thankyou for compiling the data that you did. Your data really quantifies how much of a mess the multiplayer is. ![]()
I think Amelia means well....sigh. I just don't agree with some of the choice of words or statements. I also would hate to see this as a bashing thread, for everyone's sake let's just look at the facts of what's going on with multiplayer. I really see your side Penguin but I do think you said your piece. Constructive criticism can quickly turn into...other bad synonymous things like bashing or worse, harassment.

It's the internet. I've had worse things said about me than that before breakfast on the average Tuesday. Go ahead and have your righteous crusade, or whatever, it's no skin off of my nose. The game needs more work than it's getting. The community needs more interaction than it's getting. I don't see how acting like a wounded seal because a lot of raging provoked a response from someone is going to fix that, but you seem to, so have fun. In the meantime, I'll go back to playing video games and mocking people.

So have I, but when a representative of a multi billion dollar company is the one making these comments, its a little different to some 12 year old calling you names on the internet.
