I'd probably be with Cassandra or Vivienne. Vivienne actually reminds me of my current SO... maybe that's why I'm one of the few people who got along with her. I appreciate ruthless pragmatism.

Solas I wouldn't touch with a 10-mile pole in real life (as a friend, sure, but reluctance kills my interest). I'm having my current inquisitor romance him because... god-snogging. Dorian, my first inquisitor's LI, would be a close friend but not a lover. He's a much more confident, much more mustached version of me, personality-wise. Banging him would be weird.

Sera would be that friend I have that I always try to find ways to talk to in the vain hope she'll someday spontaneously want to hop into bed without me saying anything. Her voice is marvelous, it does things to me.

Josie isn't my speed, but I'd be good friends with her. She reminds me of one of my current friends.

Bull, Cullen, or Blackwall, blech. I know Bull and Cullen are smart (sorry Blackwall), but soldiers just aren't my type. Especially ones obsessed with honor and duty (sorry again, Blackwall). I'm happy that they do it for some people, but they don't ping me at all.

Hmm I don't think I'd end up in a romance with any of them too shy to make a move and when I try most mistake me for a teenage so failure all abound. But I'd probably actually really fancy Merrill and Alistair in an admire them from afar type of way though might actually work up the courage to talk to Merrill. So Merrill

I might be biased, but Cole.

 

Without going too personal, I'm not a really kind person and I'm not great with maintaining friendships. That said, maybe I will argue with Cole from time to time, but given that he can see the true selves of people..... I'd like to believe I'm still a good person inside. Other companions might not be as accepting IMO.

 

Maybe he can slowly pull me to a change. And the fact that he is so adorable with those big eyes /teehee

 

And our relationship will be defined with lots of hugs.

Cullen would probably be the closest one, since he seems the most normal out of all the straight/bi males. But, I think his "baggage" would be off-putting for me unfortunately, I have no interest in ever "fixing" anyone.

-Iron Bull, from and believes in a religion that essentially breaks the minds of and enslaves people... no thanks

-Solas is self righteous and racist. Only reason I romanced him with my quizzy is because, well, ancient elven god, but irl... no thanks

 

I'd go for Alistair and Awakening/Pre-Justice Anders in a heartbeat though. Most of the guys I've been with have been similar to them personality-wise... love that sense of humor.

Romanced Alistair in DA:O, and I would do so IRL for his humor (and cuteness). I'd go for Anders because he had the snarky humor thing going on (yes, I know that Anders-Justice has his issues, to put it mildly, but I'd stick with him). I'd pick Blackwall despite the drama - ultimately he ends up being a decent man, and he's low-key with a fairly good sense of humor (also a sexy voice and blue eyes, which I am a sucker for). If Dorian were interested in women, I'd certainly go for him - he's the perfect mixture of intelligence and snark (would certainly consider him an equal), and I rather like his voice.

Blackwall here too. Beard + voice = yes. Dark past? Yeah, yeah, okay. I'm kind of a ride or die chick, and I don't automatically abandon someone just because he/she colossally f_cked up. Plus, as Atreiya says, low-key, funny, etc. In those ways, he reminds me of my husband IRL.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't romance anyone in this game. Maybe Josie if I was straight since she seems to be the "sane and uncomplicated" choice.

 

Dorians closet case would unnerve me and would just be too much drama that I wouldn't want to be involved in. I can imagine now me dating some strapping closeted super rich guy who's parents, friends and family would hang me alive if they found out about us. It'd be like dating the son of a rich mafioso crime lord who's 200% homophobic.  No thank you.

 

Iron bull might be an option but the BDSM thing, while in the game is cute, would turn me off. However, if that was discussed then maybe we'd make moves.

Merril easily. i just love her cuteness. and to me she easily impacted me the most of all the companions in dragon age.

 

that's the reason she is still one of my favorite characters and the reason I plead Mary Kirby writes the next Dragon Age book so just maybe Merril cameos

Definitely Alistair. We both have a goofy sense of humor so we'd get along. He's loyal and has a kind heart. Despite being occasionally childish, he's an overall well adjusted person (well, in my game anyway, since he didn't become a wandering drunk). I love that he is not complicated. His was a great romance.

 

Fenris was my special favorite, but I would NEVER be able to handle him in real life, lol!

She's perfect in every way, for me. She would have me whipped, big time. I would roll around in dog sh*t and have the broodmother eat it off of me afterwards, if she asked me to.

 

I must say, I was royally p*ssed at BW for creating this character, after meeting her for the first time in Val Royeaux... it was literally one of those cheesy "love at first sight" moments.

 

I am also ashamed of how excited and happy I was when I finally locked in her romance.

 

But don't worry, I'm not about to make a graph....
